Just a bad night here last night. The inside temp had to be over 80 degrees. We waited a half hour for two fish and chips dinner, which was the Wednesday special. The food was ok. The service was lousy because our waitress was really stressed out. I asked where the owner was and she said he was cooking. It will be a while before we go back there. Go to Carsons down the road.

A nice roadhouse style pub and restaurant. The food was good and the small three piece band was a nice bonus. The service was very good.

Great food and a nice view of Saratoga lake make this the perfect evening spot. Live music every Wednesday and Saturday makes it even better:) We had the fish and onion petals, which was excellent!

So, let me set the scene. Mother's Day weekend, temps in the high 70's. Abundant spring sunshine all day. An absolutely perfect day for an evening meal by the lake.We tried to get in to some of the more popular places. 550 Waterfront, Doc Brown's, Carson's. Not happening. Not on a Saturday, not with the spectacular weather, and certainly not an MD weekend. As we were driving around the lake we noticed a place that seemed open, but with very few cars in the lot. We could see from the road most of the meager outdoor seating area was available. With no other local options, we took a chance. After all, the only way to find new, great things is to take a chance.Soon we'd find out why Nostalgia was empty while every other restaurant on Saratoga Lake was beyond full. The first warning sign was the drinks. I ordered a lemonade and companion ordered a martini. Both were abysmal. How could anyone screw up lemonade? Maybe it was expired or something. I didn't drink it. Companion's martini was lackluster. Companion decided to order something from a bottle after that. Opening a container of cider and pouring it into a glass was a success. The apps weren't good. The frozen meatballs were worthless with some bottled sauce poured over them. The onion petals weren't quite as bad, but the sauce that came with didn't taste good. The salad may have been the best thing all evening, but for the Kraft dressing. Is it really that hard to make a homemade vinaigrette? The beer battered fish was ok. Crispy enough. The "chef special", "fall off the bone" ribs were humiliating to whatever amateur homeless shelter line cook thought they were special. No flavor. They seem to have been cooked dry. No sauce. Certainly not tender. Stringy and barely able to be dismembered with a steak knife. I've had better meat dishes in jail. The fresh vegetables and sweet potato fries were ok. We didn't bother to ask about dessert. The service wasn't bad until it was time to get the bill. Why does this happen at so many places? We're done and we just want to go, especially at this place after such a lackluster meal. The view of the lake was nice enough and the outdoor patio was enjoyable enough.A nice little surprise at the end was the bill showing up tucked into a book. At least there was that.Couldn't imagine going back there. Maybe if they hire a professional chef they could actually do something with the place.

Would not come here again. Not at all what is portrayed on the website. Now I know why there was very few people here. There was a small group of people that were loud, vulgar, and down right rude. Food was not good and service was poor.

Decided to check out Nostalgia tonight and not disappointed. We tried their chicken parm & eggplant special which were homemade & fantastic. $15 and included soup or salad. We had the French onion soup which was very good. Portions were generous. Service was great. We will definitely go back!

My friends and I love this place! Great little spot on Saratoga lake, great food, great service, and karaoke nights are AWESOME!

Great spot to grab an on-tap beer and some great food. They have karaoke nights too, which makes for some good entertainment. They have several regulars that are amazing! The service is fast and friendly, prices are reasonable as well. In the summer, you can eat outside and they have a fire pit. Nice lake views as well. Highly Recommend this place, check it out!

Old building...food was just ok. Burger came with a hunk of Swiss a quarter of an inch thick and not melted...sort of a disappointment.

Highly recommend checking this place out. The wings are the best we've had in the area. Great food, drinks and staff.
