Stop in for coffee and food a several times a month. The service, food, and drinks are always good. Usually have a flat white, cold brew, and/or special drinks. For food the muffins, bagels, egg tacos, and parfaits.

It was clean and everyone who works there is nice. It is in a busy area traffic wise, but it is a great place for crussaunts and cookies. I do not recommend their lemonade though because it is very tart. But over all it is a great 4.6 star restaurant.Kid-friendliness: Very friendly to all kids but in a traffic busy area of Malverne.

So because of the reviews here compared to the RVC one, I had planned for my first time , to go to RVC. I called to make sure they were open in RVC, no answer. I called Malverne and yes, they are open. I bought the Kookachino w/toasted marshmallow n mocha, the Advocado toast, Irish soda bread and the peanut butter n jelly bar. I brought my puppy for the visit. There was a another dog there, the same breed as mine, but 8-1/2 years older that does not like other dogs, so that was sad, so glad my pup loves all dogs. Anyway, the kookachino was DELICIOUS and so was the Advocado toast. Took a crumble of both the Soda bread n PBJ bar, very, very good. Staff was very personable and friendly. I will be frequenting this place.

Just went here for the first time with my mom for her birthday -the staff couldn’t be nicer, the coffee was as delish as can be & I’m super super super picky with my coffee-you can tell from the first sip that you’re drinking gourmet super special coffee!!!

Very few places carry an Ethiopian drip blend and it’s a home run here! Relaxed, completely, comforting, cozy coffeehouse, which is a must visit and very rarely would you not find a parking spot. Gabby is a gem and her and staff completely kind and professional. I know you would love this place too.
This is the most authentic cafe experience I've had in NY. Finding quality espresso coffee has been a struggle, let alone the friendly familiar and welcoming environment that makes Cafe culture what it is in Australia. Kookaburra exudes this warmth, with cheerful and kind staff, who are passionate about their craft and standard of service. They have an eclectic selection of pastries, cookies and cakes to accompany your beverage, and cosy inviting seating options. So you can sit down, relax, and enjoy listening to the impeccable playlist, or have a chat with the lovely staff. A must visit, and if you're local, it's time to become a regular.

In this day & time they should have someone taking phone orders. How do you refuse a customer & tell them that you have a line out the door so your order WILL NOT be taken you have to come in wait on the line. I'm so happy that your this busy but maybe you wouldn't have the line out the door for people to be WAITING IN THE HOT SUN if you had someone just taking orders. Maybe you should think of your customers first & not inconvenience them. Those who want to wait can wait those who want to hang out can but there are those with medical issues that can't wait in the sun.
