Best strawberry shortcake ever! The berry napoleon and red velvet cupcake were excellent as well. If you buy a cake, make sure the box is tied properly. I had a newbie and my cake box was not tied correctly. If I carried it by the string, it would have smashed to the ground. The servers could be more friendly and not so grumpy.

My family love this bakery, especially for their fruit cake. Malverne Pastry has so many delicious cakes good to choose from. The neatness and beautiful presentation makes me brake my diet. The service is awesome and so friendly. Such beautiful people work here. Thank you for making my celebration a great success with your delicious baking skills. There isn't a better bakery locally and beyond than Malverne Pastry Shop. Cakes, cookies, pies, bread, and cupcakes are all wonderful. Used to be cash only for many years but they now accept credit/debit cards. Hardest part is always deciding which one of the many terrific baked goods to purchase. Two of my personal favorites are the shadow cake and their butter cream filled cupcakes. Delicious!

My mom bought me my birthday cake from Malverne. She asked them for the flowers on the cake to be fondant. She drove 4 hours to bring the cake to me just for the decoration on the cake to completely melt. It obviously wasn’t fondant on the cake. Even worse, she told me that they charged her an additional fee because of the fondant. The cake was beautiful from the pictures I saw, but by the time it got to me it was melted. Such a disappointment. The cake was delicious but the overcharging for the fondant not to be used was such a scam. Never again
