The service was great but I miss the delicious choices no longer on the menu like the bruschetta, grilled Caesar salad

Love the style and ambiance, quaint atmosphere. My Bronzino was great, my husband's Sea Bass fish could have been cooked some more (fish should be fully cooked), he did not enjoy it.

Great food & service as always. But disappointed. When making res noted it was for a birthday then asked my server when ordering dessert to please put a candle in the dessert but didn't happen. Other than that everything was perfect as always there.

I came for the busiate and left a very happy customer. The food was fresh, hot, and beautifully presented—and absolutely delicious. The drinks were strong and flavorful. The atmosphere was great, and the wait staff was incredibly friendly. I'll definitely be back!

Waitress kept coming over every 5 min...asking if we were finished...taking my bread dish away with the bread I was still eating...if we stopped eating to talk someone was ready to get the food wrapped up??? Felt very rushed!!!

Uva Rossa has a lovely decor and atmosphere. It can be a little loud on the weekend, which is when we were there. Eric was our server and he was very pleasant and attentive. Maybe a little too attentive! The eggplant meatballs were outstanding, so was the wine Eric recommended, although it seemed to me like a light pour. I ordered gnocchi with sausage and it was very salty and overcooked. The staff addressed my concern quickly and professionally. I ordered and interesting salad, however it was small, not a dinner size. I left hungry! This place is pricey. I would think for the price, the food should have been of higher quality, and portion sizes larger. There are very few pasta choices, and most were very basic. No baked selections. And why so many pizzas? This is not the type of place I want to go for pizza. Will I return? Ahhhh.....no.

Here's a review for Uva Rossa: --- **Amazing Dining Experience at Uva Rossa** I recently had the pleasure of dining at Uva Rossa, and it was truly a fantastic experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy, inviting atmosphere. The restaurant's ambiance is perfect for both a casual night out and a special occasion. The food was absolutely delicious! The menu offers a great selection of Italian classics with a modern twist, and it's clear that the ingredients are top-quality. The wine selection was also impressive, with plenty of options to complement any meal. The staff was knowledgeable and happy to make recommendations. Overall, Uva Rossa exceeded my expectations. The combination of excellent food, attentive service, and a charming setting makes it a must-visit. I can't wait to return and try more of the menu!

Nice low key Anniversary dinner for me and my wife. Food and service are always excellent. We like to sit at the high tops near the widows. Noticed several new menu options. Will be back soon!

Fantastic food and a lot of new items on the menu. Antonio is a 5 star top chef, we had 4 different dishes and all were excellent. The lamb chops were magnificent! Fernando is always welcoming and makes the best cocktails on Long Island. If you prefer wine Fernando will help you choose from the extensive wine list. Also great deserts! Great restaurant!

Apps started off really well. Drinks were also really good but took a while to get to the table each time we ordered. The food took forever to get to the table. I understand it is made fresh but the other dishes that were ordered seemed cold as if they were waiting for the other food to be ready.

It’s a nice place, particularly at the bar (very “Christmas-y,”) and others apparently feel likewise b/c every seating spot around the bar was taken (a dozen or more diners who looked like they were enjoying themselves). It’s a loud place, which I didn’t like. My friend and I sat at a table for two and I found myself straining my throat and vocal cords trying to make conversation and be heard above the cacophony. I ordered branzino stuffed with shrimp over vegetables ($36). It was very good, and I much appreciated the large portion of vegetables, well prepared, accompanying the fish, which was also very good, but a small portion. I didn’t like that. My friend and I both got glasses of Pino Noir, which was wonderful, but curiously, for a place that calls itself a “wine bar,” not on the wine list menu (my friend asked if they had Pino Noir and the waiter said “yes”). The bread (in the bread basket) was very good and came with a dip that was very good. So I give it 3 stars b/c it was loud and my portion of fish was small.

Great service, our waiter Eric was very welcoming and attentive. We had high hopes for this meal as the restaurant came recommended. But unfortunately the meatballs were more like breadcrumb balls and pasta with meat sauce was ok but not worth $29. The pesto seafood risotto special for $49 used frozen not fresh fish and the pesto tasted like it came from a “knorr” packet. Very disappointing dining experience.

This restaurant is a family fav! Staff is incredible. They redecorated it was beautiful and now even nicer. It's a bit overpriced for pasta but food is always good, was disappointed they no longer do the pasta in the cheese wheel. Overall great dinner.
