This food was disgusting. My chicken was grey, the broccoli tasted like raw meat ( Idek how that can happen) and the rice taste like plastic and was cold and rubbery. I couldn't even finish and I had to throw up instantly.

Never again! I ordered crab sticks with fried rice, which is on the menu for $5.10. Ten minutes later, I was charged $6.00. I asked, "why is the tax .90?" The guy then proceeded to argue that the plain fried rice is $5.50 plus tax. I pointed at the menu, which said $5.10, and he continued raising his voice that the menu meant plain yellow rice, not fried rice. I remained calm, as he continued on. Let this be a lesson for everyone in the customer service business: Honor what your "business" says, and don't argue with customers who point out your failure to do so!!! The crab sticks were over-fried, the fried rice had about a teaspoon of carrots, peas and onions in it.

This is my favorite Chinese food to go. They have no minimum, coupons, you can make orders by text, and the delivery man is very nice. The food comes really fast and hot too. I love the spicy bean curd and vegetables. They also have general tsos tofu. They even make substitutions for me. They have an affordable lunch special and all of their dishes are reasonably priced. Great spot for vegans and meat eaters!

Hi Friends and welcome to the Sleepy Village of Malverne, Long Island. My friend George and I stopped into the little town of Malverne to see a flick at the quaint Malverne theater. Hungry for some dinner, I discovered that most of the town was closed up tight and the sidewalks all rolled up. Except Wok Express, at the late night hour of 8 p.m... they were still open. The front sign said "0"! ..That works for me. Wok Express is mostly a take-out place there are a few little tables for those who don't like to eat on the train or get caught sneaking egg rolls into the movies next door. A traditional Chinese restaurant, the folks here spoke Mandarin and were surprised that I understood them. I got a to-go order of their simple & standard kung pao chicken. I asked that they make it extra hot (Hen xinla) I paired my spicy food with a cold orange soda that probably had more sugar than my daily weekly allowance. I decided to take my dinner to my car and eat it as I yelped. I was happy to enjoy-a nice hot spicy sauce and big pieces of chicken my meal contained. I was especially pleased that they included a container of their house mustard at no extra charge. I was surprised with the freshness and quality of my take-out dinner from Wok Express. It was a wonderfully satisfying dinner for an eat in the car Adventure. And I just loved their hot mustard. Looking forward to stopping back next time I'm in Malverne.

I just discovered this great Chinese take-out restaurant on Hempstead Avenue in Malverne, NY, called Wok Express. The soups and food are top notch quality, so delicious ! I noticed their soup containers are very strong unlike some other places. Portions are good and the food is very fresh and tasty. The gentleman that greets you (Yhongzer) is so helpful, friendly and guided me with some great food selections. Actually after having their chicken noodle soup for 2 days my cold is gone ! The crispy noodles they give you with your soup are exactly like the ones in Chinatown, to die for ! This place is under New Ownership. If you want delicious, great quality food and reasonable prices, you have to try this place !
