We thoroughly loved it. We had a party of 8 for a great dinner. We loved the atmosphere. We shared several yummy appetizers for the table, wine & cocktails. I believe we all had different mains which were great from seasonal specials to standards. They have a great birthday desert celebration too. Everyone seemed to also have a wide variety of deserts. Everything was awesome. Highly recommend.

You can utilize their valet parking at no charge or you can park on the street. The valet attendant commented on our dress implying we were overdressed. I was wearing jeans, a button down with a jacket. My wife also dressed in a similar style. The food was just OK. Nothing wrong with it but also nothing to remember. The menu reminded me of the red Italian section of a diner. They will have that one dish you always order but they don't appear to have a signature. It was just OK.

Tried this place based on the high reviews on Google but it was not my experience. We parked in the lot and walked in the back and the hostess barked at us to come to the front to be seated which kind of set the tone. The bread was the highlight of the meal. Chicken scarp was just ok and the special pasta, which was supposed to be fettuccine arrabiata was just a lump of overcooked noodles with no real sauce, and a lump of hot peppers. Padre Pio is a block away and on another level from every perspective in my view.

Everything was great! Amazing actually! I highly recommend the short rib toscana and the lychee martini - I had 2. If I wasn’t driving I would’ve easily had 2 more. The best I’ve ever had compared to the numerous places I’ve gone to and tried. The short rib - delicious! No complaints whatsoever. Definitely going back!
Parking: There’s street parking, but more importantly, free Valet in the back!

Sometimes, I think I spend too much h time looking for a Bloody Mary as good as The Harrison in Floral Park. My search has ended right here in Mamaroneck. The absolute professionalism of the bartender, to the thorough attention by the most attentive waitstaff, places Alessia's squarely at the top of our rotation. There was no one single item out of place. There was not a deviation in portion size. The bread was rustic and structured and soaked up the fruity olive oil, making a veritable explosion of authentic tradition on your tongue. The antipasto was.. perfection. There are no words. Appetizers were all fresh and exquisite. The entrees were perfectly prepared. Never has there been a restaurant that has ZERO negatives. There was even plenty of parking! I simply cannot wait to come back to this hidden gem in Mamaroneck.
Cool atmosphere! Great for a romantic dinner. I came here awhile ago with my family, but I had a lovely meal that included trying their pizza. Crust was perfect, pizza was flavorful. We also had the rice balls, ceasar salad, the gnocchi, chicken francese, and someone had the Marsala. All were lovely! We also loved the desserts!
We chose to go to Alessia’s for dinner with a large party with very strict dietary restrictions ( celiac and various allergies). We called ahead of time to ensure the menu could accommodate. The staff (who also turned out to be our waitress/ waitress of the year) spent time with us on the phone and assured they’d be able to offer several options for our group.
When we arrived, we were seated in a very comfortable and special space. We felt like VIPs! The waitress introduced herself and already knew who we were. Throughout the meal, we received excellent service. The food was incredible and we can’t wait to get back. Thank you, Team Alessia!

Service: we have been waiting to get menus for 10 mins after being seated. No side plates were given even after salad was delivered. Water bottle was just left on the side while I clearly saw that other tables water was poured into their glasses. Hmmm We felt very neglected as waitress didn’t bring the juice to the kid and we had to remind someone else that it’s just sitting at the bar. Not sure if it was racist attitude or what as we are tourists as we waited for a food much longer than other tables and Ours has arrived much later and no one asked us how the meal was. We did feel neglected counting that I go out in the city so often and thought upstate would deliver much better services and attitude.. Just haah. Not family friendly and super long wait. Clearly this is an example how bad service kills great business model

We love this place! We started going to Antoninos years ago so we were hesitant to try it just being a creature of habit. And just like Antoninos,Alessias DID NOT disappoint! Our server Marco and Host Melissa are always top notch, so welcoming and friendly! The food is beyond amazing 🤩
