It’s 2024 and you’re in the heart of Mamaroneck and you don’t accept ApplePay or credit cards. Who even carries cash? So I have to go to the ATM and pay $4 to get money out just to purchase a bagel or a sandwich??? Every day team looks to eat and we never go here because they don’t take cards and expect us to spend money at the ATM just to eat here? I’ll bet you $1000 the folks who own this establishment uses credit and debit cards daily when they’re out. It’s 2024 and nobody carries cash. I spend about $150 per day on lunch for my team and the three places we never go is here and the pizza spots because they’re cash only. There’s only one reason why a place is cash only and that’s to limit what the report to the IRS. It’s really frustrating because you want to support a business in your neighborhood but then you can’t because you feel disrespected because they want you to use the ATM to get cash. We’re not in the 1950’s folks, get with the times or you’ll soon be out of business. City officials aren’t going to the ATM unless you’re giving a $4 discount from what we had to spend at the friggin ATM?????!!!

Great place

I definitely will not be going back. Two bagels were $30 and they were just meh. The bagels themselves are pretty gummy and definitely not worth the money

Listen...anyone in these reviews complaining about the service is either way too soft or wanted to dilly dally when it was their time to order. The main lady is great at her job - she never messes up our orders and is always super efficient. Been ordering here for years and never waited more than 15 minutes. If you want a no nonsense experience with an authentic, DELICIOUS NY bagel, then this is your spot. Shut up and just enjoy your amazing bagel.

It's a hit or miss place.. Sometimes they are great and friendly, sometimes they are rude as hell.. Food looks great. But Sometimes it takes so long. Poor girl with the glasses is left alone sometimes to do everything..cook, register, clean, supplies, but she's very nice. And when they do give her some help in the front, but with some rude old people.. And the uber/grubhub drivers that deliver for them have to wait so long and leave them last.. And every minutes they have to wait they make less money.

O stars is what this place deserves. I was there on yesterday to pick up an order and was greeted by the most rudeness woman. Her facial expression tuned up and she rolled her eyes. She failed to pack up the hot drink, I had to put the drink in a bag. Horrible place, disgusting staff=NEVER MY MONEY HERE!

The woman behind the counter was incredibly rude for no reason. One of many rude moments in the ten minutes we were there: she asked my friend and me if we were paying together or separate. My friend wasn’t immediately sure, so she paused and turned to look at me to decide. The woman said “I’m just asking if you’re paying together or separate” in the sassiest tone that made my friend feel stupid and hurt. The store was basically empty, so it’s not as if the rush was justified. I proceeded to order with no emotion, but by the end of the interaction she sensed I wasn’t happy and decided to say that I was the one with the attitude. I have worked in an almost identical establishment and that is not how we ever treat customers, especially if they’re doing something as simple as trying to place an order. I’ve seen other bad reviews about the customer service here, so it seems to be a pattern. Do not go here if you don’t want to leave feeling worse about yourself and your day. I will not be back.

Honestly one of the best spots to get a bagel around westchester for two main reasons: the food smacks and the service is top notch. My recommendations are both the cream cheese and bacon egg and cheese bagels. This store prides itself for providing a variety of fresh bagels and I can guarantee after my dozens of visits they have never disappointed. Over everything, what I enjoy most about this spot is the community it has built. The owners are so welcoming to everyone and the service is always great. You always see familiar faces when you walk into the store and they never fail to great you in. Seating area here is not too spacious but after their new renovation it's actually quite nice. There's bar and tables to sit at if you plan to dine in. A little perk this place has is it's location on the mamaroneck ave. It's right next to Dunkin' (literally shares a wall w it) and there are a variety of other spots you can check out to get a drink. There's a farmers market right across the street if you're feeling an Arizona tea and Green Life if you're feeling a smoothie. Just to clarify the bagel caffe does offer drinks too but im just listing some options you have in case none please you. I usually get a coffee from Dunkin' and a bagel from here and that makes for a nice breakfast, lunch or snack.

I have been coming here for a few months now, but will no longer come to this place. The lady who works at the front counter is super rude and always acts like she has a chip on her shoulder. She gives you a blank stare as you’re ordering making it seem like she’s bothered taking your order. They also messed up my sandwich forgot to put salt pepper and ketchup. When I came back in and asked nicely for them to just add salt pepper and ketchup, she handed me salt pepper and ketchup packets. If I wanted to make a sandwich myself I would have just stayed home and made it myself. Seemed really rude and like she didn’t want to be bothered to correct her error. Food is okay, place needs a bit of cleaning up. Prices are pretty high. I’ll pass and get breakfast elsewhere from now on.

Great sandwiches and bagels. Definitely try this place if you love bagels + they have a lot of funny posters about bagels on the wall

Not the most sanitary of places as staff/owner touches money and food and money and food without gloves. Please change this practice! Not good
