Garden Catering - Mamaroneck

They are definitely the fastest when it comes to preparing your online order. I haven't seen any place that can surpass their quality in terms of flavor and speed in preparing your food. I give them a 10/10.

Still can’t forget the day my mother in law, my husband, and I went to make an order, and the woman at the register had an INSANELY mean attitude. We were actually quiet, standing beside the register (not even making small talk). There wasn’t anyone else in the establishment except us. Once the food was done, the woman *slammed* the food on the register. THEN, she banged her hand on the table multiple times, as if she was trying to get our attention, but we were already looking at her appalled. It was the most rudest interaction I’ve dealt with from any restaurant on the strip. When I said, “excuse me”. She responded snappily, “here, here” and just turned her back to us. Even the people cooking stood still! And she never apologized. As a poc herself, it shocks me she spoke to us like that. There’s no doubt in my mind she’d NEVER treat non-poc customers from Mamaroneck in such an ill manner, and that is absolutely not right.
Food here isn’t even good—! Fries are amateur, and the burgers are two pieces of DRY bread with something in the middle.
I’ve never gone back since and I never plan to. Rude service and dehydrated food? Nope.

The chicken is just incredible and if you would even question that I have one word for you. Seasoning. Their seasoning is so good and is a mistake to not have it.

I used to love this place in high school. Came here today and one, they didn’t remind me that i get a free drink with my food so i forgot because its been so long. Two, the chicken in the special is squishy, wet feeling, and smells weird. I’ve had a stomach ache all night since i ate here. Not to mention the portions used to be twice
as big a decade ago. 25 bucks for two specials, and half went to the trash. Waste of money.

Used to come here all the time in high school, since then they’ve really started being stingy on everything. When you pay $17 through Uber Eats (pick-up) you’d expect there to be some kind of portion that matches the price, right? Wrong. Feels like they give you whatever they’re feeling that day. Not to mention the terrible customer service, I ordered through the Uber Eats app for pick-up where they were doing one of their special deals, “Buy 1 Item get free item”. Ordered it and apparently there was the most out of the way section to add the free item that didn’t give me a single prompt? Went over there and no kind of compensation was offered whatsoever, went back to work hungry. Awesome stuff, really glad to see where it’s gone!

Had takeout, sooo delicious!!! You definitely get your moneys worth. The nuggets are actual pieces of chicken breast, perfectly fried. Sandwiches were delicious.

Food is delicious but I had a not so great experience this evening when placing an order for pick up. I ordered varies sizes of nuggets (which comes with fries but I didnt know that). Instead of being told that I was asked what size fries I wanted....45 bucks later I end up with 2 extra ordered of fries that I didnt need. I also tried to ordered shrimp which I saw on the online menu, I was told I needed to call some place else because they didnt have that.

I've been eating here since they opened their Mamaroneck location in I wanna say 2005. I don't think I'll be going back after my experience today. My order was wrong, which isn't the annoying part, but the price to portion ratio just isn't worth it anymore. I ordered a big boy mix and there was definitely not a full 3/4lb of chicken and a total of 6 cones and 12 fries. If I spend $20 on a meal I shouldn't still be hungry. You have lost a loyal customer of almost 20 years today.

I love the seasoning they put on the nuggets and their gluten free nuggets are amazing! I have never been disappointed by the food.

Dietary restrictions: They have amazing gluten free nuggets. I always get the largest special so that I can have leftovers. They also reheat in an air fryer really well!
