SmokeHouse Tailgate Grill - Mamaroneck

My daughter and I really enjoyed the barbecue food here. I had the brisket and she had the pulled pork both were really good. The cornbread has a drizzle of agave butter which is really delicious. The mac and cheese is made with yellow cheese which was really good. I had the homemade coleslaw which is made with peppers, I enjoyed it. I recommend this place, I'll check it out again.

The food is a little dry but the corn bread is everything !! The services is okay. The appetizer came out fast but the main meal took forever l! Over all the place is not super ideal! The setting however is dope.

My first time here and the food was absolutely delicious. I had the 1/2 Brisket plate and my husband and son shared the plate for two - all very good! Service was outstanding and since it was a Tuesday night, it was 2 for 1 Margarita night! We most definitely will be back!

This was my first time coming here, the hamburger was so tiny it was smaller than a plain fast food hamburger! I asked for it to be medium-rare, It was so overdone the burger was blackened, they also left off the lettuce and onions, it was terrible. By the time I got home and tasted how bad it was I couldn't do anything about it and I threw it away. Service was bad too, I asked them if everything in my order was in the bag and they said yes, I got to my car and checked the bag and noticed they left out the sandwich and I had to go back for it.

We tried this place for the first time and it was not what we expected. I ordered the loaded Mac and cheese and I took two bites and couldn’t eat it. The taste was not all that great and the pasta they used to make it was far from what i expected it to be. Definitely will not come back here.

We went tonight after an early movie. Nice night so we sat outside. The hostess was very accommodating and sat us quickly. She took our drink order to save the waitress some time. This was great. We ordered apps and dinner. The food was good not great. Tasty and served efficiently. Our waitress did get lost for a bit and other wait staff attended to us, which is fine. Just worth noting. We will be back.

Good BBQ for the area. Large portions. The donuts and gelato was very good, large enough for 2 people. No free refills on the ice tea.

The place itself is very nice

Their only problem when sitting outside is the numerous amounts of bees that came to your table but it varies at times not everyone’s table get hit but they should def invest in some citerella candles would be awesome

In regards to the food
I found the BBQ platter for 2 for 60 dollars was really designed in portions for one and not two people
they also include one corn bread with the meal for two.
Their best is the brisket and the chicken tender flavorful
The ribs are ok and small
Mac and Cheese was bland
Fries typical
Lemonade was very lite more water flavored than lemon
But in all if you want bbq stop by check it out

Unfortunately, we had a very bad experience tonight with an order we called in for delivery. We ordered 2 House Burgers for delivery. Our order was delivered late and was incorrect. We received only 1 meal. When the Smokehouse was called to question where our delivery was - we were told the driver was contacted and we're waiting for him to pick up your order for delivery. It is not the drivers' fault. After the order was delived, we called Smoehouse to inform them of their mistake. The manager
who we spoke to had a very flippant attitude. This is not the way to do business. Tonight is the second time we ordered from Smokehouse and this happened. It's unfortunate, because they used to be top notch place to order good food for delivery. We will not be ordering from Smokehouse again.

Smokehouse has become a family favorite. We went on a beautiful day and sat outside on the picnic tables. My picky 5 year old ate everything that we put in front of her - I was so proud of her for trying new foods and she loved everything she tried. The brisket empanadas, cornbread and mac and cheese are amazing. I normally get the bacon egg and cheese burger (I didn't see it on their menu this time) which is my favorite but this time I tried the pulled pork and it was so good. My husband had the jerk brisket tacos and he was raving about them. Every time we come here the staff is so nice - this time especially. We picked a picnic table that was in the shade when we first sat down but by the time we ordered our food it was almost completely in the sun and it was super hot that day. Our waitress asked if we wanted to move because we had our 5 year old and 3 month old and of course we said yes. I was so happy that she asked us. Anyway.. 1000/10 we love this spot so much.

I have been to both of their locations. The food isn’t that great there and the service is lacking. Servers are slow and not attentive. There are way better smoke houses and the second time i went i ordered the fried chicken sandwich and they served me raw chicken? My waitress was super nice and apologized but that doesn’t excuse the irresponsibility of the chef. I waited really long for the sandwich too for it to be not cooked. UNACCEPTABLE

I went to this restaurant a while back, and it was excellent. However, this last time, they definitely fell off. Minimum effort on the food. The ribs looked like they came from a pig that was on a diet. Very little meat on the bones, and very flat. What kind of animal has perfectly flat ribs? Which was ridiculous for the price. I did not eat the food. My guests literally took it home to give to their dogs. The only thing that I enjoyed was the corn bread, which is basic corn bread. I do not recommend this restaurant. The servers were good, and that was really the only highlight.
