Kissaki Japanese Restaurant Reviews
Food poisoning. BAD food poisoning.
This was an unfortunate incident made far worse by the response and behavior of "Joe Johnson", supposedly the Dir of Operations at Kissaki Hospitality Group - although, I can't find any information about him online so I'm going on the assumption that it's an alias. Perhaps he's Justin Marquez who is the listed Dir of Operations on Linkedin. Again, that's an assumption. I have no idea who "Joe Johnson" actually is.

Kissaki Japanese Restaurant in Manhasset offers top-notch hospitality and a beautifully renovated space, creating a relaxed luxury vibe, especially at the bar. Known for its exceptional Japanese cuisine, standout dishes include the Chef's Nigiri offering, Uni pasta, Sandy futomaki, spicy tuna, and negitoro rolls. The Toro Sundae impresses with premium ingredients like uni, caviar, and toro. While the miso soup's flavor could be stronger, it is well-plated. Guests have praised the beautiful, modern spot and the awesome staff, highlighting their attentiveness and commitment to ensuring a wonderful dining experience. The restaurant consistently delivers flavorful and satisfying meals, making it one of the standout restaurants in the area. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for enjoying a meal and creating lasting memories. Bartender Andre is fantastic, and Jun is welcoming and a perfect host. Despite minor service issues, such as mix-ups with food delivery and dessert timing, the restaurant quickly resolves them and maintains a high standard of service. Kissaki is highly recommended and definitely worth revisiting, though diners should be prepared for higher prices.
