Started with an amuse-bouche, a tomato based rice ball plus some samples of parm and bread basket. . I ordered pulpo (octopus) for app and my spouse got the soup du jour, broccoli based. Both delicious although the pulpo was a little overcooked (too tender). Then we both had the monkfish special in a lightly tomato-based sauce with veggies - excellent. At the end, they brought out a plate with 3 slices of cakes and pies (apple, chocolate, cheesecake with whipped cream) + cookies complementary. Due Peroni + 1 chardonnay. Very quiet corner table for conversation. They had one round table seating 9 people. A Friday night during holidays, about 2/3 tables used. Very classic high end decor still with Christmas decorations. A little pricey perhaps ($240 including good tip). Roberto was the maître d', authentic Italian, very pleasant. Wait staff = excellent. Service timely, no rush, but appropriate. All in all, a great dinner for us.

Everything was superb - they really pay attention to the details. They also offer a lot of free tastes for the table, even desserts. We enjoyed the stuffed artichokes, veal with chestnuts, and the halibut. Service was polished and very attentive. Would have enjoyed a table deeper in the room and more away from the bar, but the room is beautiful and lively. We look forward to returning. It is a special occasion place.
