Roberto and the whole team made my family and my experience exceptional! I am 47 and had been going to their family resturaunt since I was 15 years old and in high school when they owned Arturo’s. I moved out of NY over 20 years ago and haven’t eaten at any of their resturaunts in at least 15 years. When our latest trip was going to take my family and I out to the eastern end of Long Island I jumped on the opportunity to take my family there. Wow!! The food and service was just like I remembered when my parents took us kids! It was very sentimental for me to see my family enjoying the special apps, dinner, and the in house made desserts! By the way, ask for their “Old School Secret”Apps menu where they will serve you an Italian Torta, bell peepers, eggplant, zucchini, a sea food salad, and more that you will die for!! Our evening was as good as imagined from this wonderful establishment. Tommy our host was amazing as the food and everything was spot on. I would give 6 stars to the food and wait staff. I will be returning often. I ordered 3 appetizers as I wanted to taste several items...artichoke heart medley, fresh stuffed figs with prosciutto and goat cheese and basalmic reduction. Pistachio glazed sea bass and osso bucco and risotto filled out our evening...I had leftovers reluctantly so I could try the dolce. Hats off to all involved and bon appetite to all...

Although my friends like it and thought I might, I didn't.To begin with, we had a waiter who was aggressive and not listening to us. The salad I ordered was warm and unappealing. The veal scallopine was dry and tough. There is no choice for dessert. The four desserts they have are brought to your table, and you are then to have a taste of each.I think that is a poor idea. I do not recommend this restaurant.

I’m not just saying this, but this place is actually the best restaurant in the world in my opinion. If you go to other more expensive restaurants, they wont cook with nearly as much love as this place does. Highly recommend, you won’t regret it.
