I stopped by on a Thursday evening around 6pm and was surprised by how lively it was, clearly a popular spot! The only seat available was near the entrance, so I felt the occasional gust of cold air when the door opened, but that just speaks to how busy they were.
I don’t drink alcohol, so I can’t speak to the drinks, but I ordered the burger and it was excellent. The fries were just as impressive, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Even though I didn’t get to fully take in the ambiance since I was seated by the door, I still had a really positive experience overall.
The staff truly stood out, friendly, attentive, and incredibly kind throughout my visit. I’d definitely recommend giving this place a try!

Came in on January 4th for a dinner reservation with my girlfriend. Everything was amazing! The food, the drinks, the employees, and the atmosphere were all great! They understood my allergies and were very reassuring with what we ordered. No complaints and def would come back

First off WOW! We sat at the bar for lunch. We LOVED the customer service from LUIS, he was Phenomenal. He gave us great recommendations for our first time in NYC. Stanley was also working behind the bar and he was also phenomenal. Food was AMAZING. Their Appletini was a hit. Wow absolutely incredible. We really enjoyed our experienced. Thank you Luis and Stanley ❤️

Came across this great bar, while back in this great city visiting family. A very warm and casually-stylish ambiance, and very inviting and cosy, particularly in Winter (at the time of our visit). Very nice eats on the menu and impressive wine selection (oh and nice cocktails🍹 too 😊 - martini’s being their specialty).

excellent food and attentive service! the only drawback is how crowded the tables were as it felt like the tables next to us were right on top of us and their servers would be very much in our personal space when they came around

but besides that we loved our food and drinks, our server was great, and it was a very lively atmosphere

I NEVER write negative reviews, but our experience warranted this one. I saw multiple posts about Cecchi's and the hype about the restaurant online. I booked a table 30 days in advance for my Mom's first NYC trip from Canada for her Birthday. We arrived at our reservation time and the restaurant was packed with what seemed like 50 extra people standing at the bar. We were barely acknowledged but told our table wasn't ready. We waited for close to 30 minutes with no acknowledgement from staff unless we approached them. We were ultimately offered a side table in the packed entryway (not even in the actual restaurant) where 10+ other people were waiting for their tables. We refused and ultimately left before we were even seated.

Had dinner at Cecchi’s a while ago, it was our first trip to NYC to celebrate a personal occasion. I’ve heard that the place is popular so I made a reservation a month in advance. When we came at scheduled time managers told us that they are still trying to sit people who made a reservation before us, so we will need to wait (which was a bit strange to me because I’ve never had such experience with reservations before). We’ve spent 25 minutes in the line, I wasn’t aware of no baseball cap rule, my husband took it off when they asked, but the thing I didn’t get it although I’m aware that’s it is considered a “lively” place, some couples were too passionate about each other (without exaggeration), so if not wearing some part of the outfit is an etiquette rule and staff can make a point about it - why no one pays that much attention to PDA which is also a part of the etiquette, especially if a restaurant wants to keep a certain image? (not mad about it, just an observation). Besides that, the food and drinks was nice, loved the interior. Some of the waiters may be less touchy with their customers because it maybe uncomfortable for some of them.

The restaurant is truly beautiful. Kind of feels like they’re rushing you to get in and out, the way multiple workers hover around your table and ask if you need anything else, etc.
