I have had the chance to eat at this restaurant 2 times with my friends. I had tried the following dishes:1. Ghormeh sabzi2. Gheymeh nesar3. Zereshkpolo ba morgh4. Kashke bademjan5. Koobideh6. Jewelled Kebab7. Albalu polo8. Baklava +teaI liked them all, my top recommendation is kebab menu, albalu polo and kash k bademjan. The atmosphere and hospitality is amazing. The place may be crowded at times so make sure you show up with reservations and on time.If any improvement, I believe they may consider extending their menu on stew and drinks, and desert.

We took a group of 30 people to Nasrin’s Kitchen and were blown away by the fantastic food and great atmosphere. The chicken, rice and delicious sauces were so good we would not hesitate to go back. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

This place is a unique in NYC. First the atmosphere, you leave the succession of up town luxury retail stores and its noise to travel in the past, when Teheran was a cosmopolitan city. The elegant high ceiling adorn with marble columns, the table are simply decorated, the intimate corner table for two where you can almost lay down, the low level of music (or not music at all) that allow to have private and quiet conversation without yelling at each other. Then comes the service, friendly, smily, efficient, almost as if you were a family member too long time absent and missed. Then the food, prepared with love by Chef Nasrin, cooked with attention and flavors. There is nothing fancy here, everything comes from the heart. It's simply authentic and contorting. Even the little imperfections are gracious and only bring more charm to the place.

We were a party of three and everyone ordered something different. We had kabab barg, koofteh Tabrizee , kashk bademjan, mast moosir, and joojeh kabab. All dishes were amazing. The koofteh reminded me of my aunt’s koofteh in Iran. Her Koofehs were legendary. Loved it. Highly recommend this restaurant.

A Taste of Home in New YorkI recently visited Nasrin's Kitchen, a Persian restaurant in New York, and I had an amazing experience. The staff were so friendly and made me feel really welcome. The food, especially the Gheimeh Nesar, was incredibly delicious – bursting with flavor! The atmosphere was cozy with Persian decorations, which made me feel right at home. I highly recommend Nasrin's Kitchen to anyone looking for great food and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Thanks to the team at Nasrin's Kitchen for a wonderful dining experience!

Our food was all cold and the kabobs were hard to cut from probably sitting for a while. They didn’t have half of the menu available and by the time we ordered two of the other half was not available so we were left with 5 options. We were so excited to come here but sadly had a disappointing experience.

We went with high expectations but simply the food was terrible. The eggplant appetizer, kashkeh bademjoon, which usually a very flavorful dish in Persian restaurants had no flavor. Musteh moosir was creamy and tasty. Both kebabs in the Sotani were very dry, tasteless and poor quality beef. The rice was at best average. One expects much higher quality for a $50 plate. The chicken kabob was also dry but not as bad. The dish with triple kebabs was also subpar. Dry and tasteless. The deezi was passable, again not good value. Do not recommend this restaurant. There mich better ones in NYC.

NEXT LEVEL AMAZIng. A true gem in busy mid town. The atmosphere is very special, tasteful and cozy, with very unique design. Feels homey and ceremonial at the same time. The menu has both the traditional Persian kebabs and signature stews as well as more regional and usual dishes - both equally delicious. The desserts are fantastic. Best Iranian restaurant in the city. Highly recommend!!!

My joojeh kabob was super dry and flavorless, the barg was so chewy and dry it was almost inedible, and the jewel kabob was dry and had an odd taste. It was very unfortunate! The food was way overpriced. The maste musir and the bread were very tasty though.

The not so new little restaurant unfortunately disappoints!A basic staple of a middle eastern restaurant is a kabob dish- was looking forward to a juicy koobideh: the entry dish to persian food. However it was rubbery and bland. So heartbreaking... even the sumac in the bottles had no flavor. The rice was dry, and not a buttery or savory accompaniment to our dry grilled meat. The piece of tehdig was a welcome surprise! The soup (Ash-rishte) was much better , light but full flavored. Perhaps the stews here are a better gamble? Not sure if we will be returning to find out.At the higher end of the spectrum as far as pricing , for a simple meal presented in a very simple way in a second floor room that admittedly has a certain cluttered kitschy charm. They would not pack up leftovers . But only had one size take out containers for you to do it yourself. Doesn't match the price being charged. Plus a mysterious extra charge tacked on to the bill (?)This establishment seems incredibly confused as to their desired identity and what level of ambience and service being offered, and ultimately what is being delivered.

This was an exceptional dining experience all around. Multiple delicious dishes, served by a friendly, knowledgeable and attentive waiter. Fabulous wine. Elegant old style dining room, hidden upstairs from the street. And all helmed by a recent immigrant who has brought her extraordinary cooking to our city. Try dishes like the Mirza Ghasemi (a smoky eggplant dip), Soltani (lamb and beef kebabs), and Fesenjoon (an incredible pomegranate chicken).
