Always great
I went here and was treated like a peasant and talked to in a very condescending way for zero reason at all. I wrote a review and mysteriously its gone, rather than responding accordingly like most businesses do. I need nothing from them besides recognition clearly Im not the only one who has felt mistreated by certain staff. Clearly this business does NOT care about its patrons what so ever.
I was genuinely excited to play at Somewhere Nowhere. I had heard amazing things and was impressed by the venue itself. Unfortunately, my experience was tainted by one of the DJs/promoters. While I was in New York to professionally DJ, he invited me into a private room in a way that felt inappropriate and uncomfortable. After I made it clear I was not interested, his attitude toward me changed. He became noticeably negative and dismissive. It was unprofessional and disappointing, especially given the reputation this club has built. No artist should have to feel pressured or mistreated for setting boundaries. I hope the venue takes a closer look at who is representing them because people like that quietly damage the trust and credibility the team has worked hard to build
It was lots of fun. I recommend going there with a promoter. Music was not 10/10 but the views and pool make up for it
Staff were not nice
I was here at an organized event and it was good, amazing views, cool place to hang out and talk. Good service. The food is just ok, typical bar food, a little dry.
We loved our day pass at the pool on the roof here. It was really chill during the day with only a few days beds taken. Pool is small, but great for the size of the rooftop and number of people up there. They provided wine with the booking and the food was decent too. I had the watermelon salad and sliders. Taquitos were also good. Overall, a wonderful few hours in the sun by the pool and would definitely visit again.
We reserved the rooftop bar at Somewhere Nowhere for a group event of about 20 people. Kristy worked with me to craft a menu that was delicious, and accommodated a vegan, someone with nut allergies, and someone who is gluten free.
Everyone raved about the food.
The staff was extremely responsive and took care of all the details large and small.
And of course the sunset photos over the Hudson were amazing.
Amazing VD’24 @ SN Rooftop. Booked at the enclosure first, and then were able to move into the outdoor Igloo. Both experiences were great, definitely recommend!
Of course, we loved the Igloo even better but it’s twice as expensive. The view from the Igloo to the Empire State building was very beautiful & romantic.
The drinks & food selection great & super tasty. It was a freezing day & the Igloo had its own heater & few fur-like throw blankets, was just right.
Our reservation came with the preset dinner, bottle of Madame Clicquot, s’mores, red roses on the table & strawberry tarte & everything was set up perfect & super romantic for us. Waitstaff & bartenders went out their way to make everyone’s experience truly amazing.

Expect to wait in a line for literally anything for 30+ minutes (getting in, the coat line, the bar, taking an elevator to leave, etc.) The aesthetic of the bar is nice, but that’s about all it’s got going on. The staff was constantly in everyone’s business whether you had a table or were on the dance floor. You get shoved aside from your spot/table for promoters to drag their group through. And worst of all the female security member working inside the elevator to leave was SO abrasive with every guest trying to leave the club. I watched the elevator open for the next group to move on to leave and she reached out and snatched a woman to drag her onto the elevator while separating her from her group to get on while she was screaming at everyone to start moving. The male security guard upstairs had to apologize profusely for her behavior because it was truthfully very unnerving for guests who were quite literally doing nothing but waiting to leave. Would never go back here. 0/10 not a good time.

Liars. Horrible business practices. My party bought a table and 3 bottles and were promised that guests who were arriving late would be accommodated and could join our table. When the guests arrived, they were told they’d need to purchase a separate table. We were rushed to our table which I thought was bizarre, but brushed it off. Ended up having to go down and argue with the original door folks who told us 15 minutes earlier that late guests would be accommodated. Accused me of not understanding math and completely disregarded and denied what was agreed to minutes earlier. Extremely shady people and business practices here. Rushing us to our table should’ve been a red flag, but we ignored it. Don’t make the same mistake that we did. Don’t get scammed by these scammers. (And by the way, it wasn’t even fun when we got upstairs. Overblown for the crowd we ended up seeing. Go literally anywhere else. Better crowds and real business.)
