I was genuinely excited to play at Somewhere Nowhere. I had heard amazing things and was impressed by the venue itself. Unfortunately, my experience was tainted by one of the DJs/promoters. While I was in New York to professionally DJ, he invited me into a private room in a way that felt inappropriate and uncomfortable. We loved our day pass at the pool on the roof here. It was really chill during the day with only a few days beds taken. Pool is small, but great for the size of the rooftop and number of people up there. They provided wine with the booking and the food was decent too. I had the watermelon salad and sliders. Taquitos were also good. Overall, a wonderful few hours in the sun by the pool and would definitely visit again.
We reserved the rooftop bar at Somewhere Nowhere for a group event of about 20 people. Kristy worked with me to craft a menu that was delicious, and accommodated a vegan, someone with nut allergies, and someone who is gluten free.
Everyone raved about the food.
The staff was extremely responsive and took care of all the details large and small.
And of course the sunset photos over the Hudson were amazing.
