Sides are really well flavored, some of the best tofu I've ever had, and the purple rice is also great. I just wish the portions of everything were larger. When I ordered a side separately I was given the exact same amount of it that I got with the combo platter (3 dumplings and 3 dumplings), which doesn't make sense to me; it should be a larger portion, otherwise why is it more money to just get that 1 side on its own? At the very least a separate order of dumplings should have been 6, which is approx. what you'd get from any other takeout place.

This functions like a chipotle or any other “make your own bowl” place but for korean food. The meat options seem to do well in reviews but the tofu is nothing to write home about. The salad base tasted like had soap in it? The rice was overcooked. I would not come back here

I’m obsessed. I was skeptical because I’m very picky about Korean food as I’m Korean but it was super tasty. I got the steak bowl enjoyed everything about it because it tasted fresh and homemade. I particularly enjoyed the saucy dumplings, kale side dish, and the fire sauce. Oh and the rice omg so comforting. The whole concept is very westernized and if done wrong it could have been awful but this was absolutely done right. Please come to the financial district 🙏

That Spicy Pork at Sopo? Let’s just say my taste buds were dancing like they won the flavor lottery. Sweet potato, pork, and broccoli came together like the Avengers—saving lunch one bite at a time. MealPal, I owe you one!
