This place was GREAT! It's over an hour away and I would go back today if I could. The service was quick and friendly. The view overlooking Otisco lake was beautiful, even though it was a stormy day. The food was absolutely fantastic! Taste, presentation, size and price were perfect. Highly suggest giving this gem a try.
Prompted by an ad in the Syracuse Eagle Newspaper for a Valentine's Day special prix fixe dinner, we traveled to the Lakeside Vista Restaurant on Otisco Lake. Our meals began with a generous glass of prosecco and a large romaine salad with red onion, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, and croutons. I’m sure depending on what was ordered, the possibility of something greasy is a possibile.
I wasn’t there when this happened however, whenever I’ve gone to any other restaurant or even a wine tasting at all Wineries you do need a reservation for 8+ in a group.
I also want to address being uncomfortable with the patrons.
