“I ordered the fish fry and a cup of the New England clam chowder last week for take-out and was very pleased with my meal. The fish and fries were delicious and crispy, not greasy at all and the soup was very tasty, almost like a stew with nice sized chunks of vegetables and clams. I'll be back soon!!”
“Prompted by an ad in the Syracuse Eagle Newspaper for a Valentine's Day special prix fixe dinner, we traveled to the Lakeside Vista Restaurant on Otisco Lake. Our meals began with a generous glass of prosecco and a large romaine salad with red onion, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, and croutons. The main course included a grilled skewer of three shrimp and two scallops, a porterhouse steak, a twice baked potato, and asparagus. The shrimp and scallops we're based with a seasoned butter sauce during grilling resulting in a delicious flavor, and the steak was cooked perfectly to order. The twice baked potato included bacon and cheese, and the skin was crispy enough to pick up and eat after finishing its contents. For dessert my wife chose the carrot cake and I had blueberry pie. Both were excellent. A delicious feast for a very reasonable price. Service was excellent and views of the lake unbeatable. We'll be back soon to try their Sunday buffet brunch, and next summer to dine al fresco on their outdoor patios facing the lake.”
“Fast, super friendly, love felt service. Never a grumpy person helping you. There is a real sense of cohesiveness there, compared to no other. I wish there were more “non diner” places like this. Haven’t found one yet so Finally Ours is my favorite place to eat.”
“I had a delicious mango milk tea. I could actually taste the tea and the mango, which was nice. Sometimes the fruit is overpowering, but this was a perfect blend. No extras for me, but there are lots of options. Give them a try.”
“I don't know why it took me so long to get to this place, but it was so worth it. Great for a date better with the family. Maybe next time we'll attempt their challenge, but you better be hungry. A must try if you're in the Syracuse Camillus area.”
“This was a real treat for me. I was in the area for a Dr's appointment and it was my first time in town. After the appointment I needed something mild for my stomach. I found this place on Google, stopped in to check out the menu, and ordered some Chicken Pho. It was super tasty and available as gluten free. The woman who waited on my was very nice and checked in on me several times, which I appreciated very much. The bonus was some vintage music playing which seemed very relaxing to me after a stressful morning and mid-day. THANK YOU!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free”
“Totally AWESOME place. Owners and wait staff were fantastic even though it was packed . Every one was friendly and helpful. The scallops were sweet as they should be,hubby's 2 pc fried fish was really great and plenty,he ended up taking it home and air fried it the next day, potatoes were real mashed potatoes. They also use real butter. We will be going back real soon. I already love that place.❤️?Parking: Handicap parking and ramp”
“A don't miss eatery when in Skaneatales for terrific (not-junky) fried fish. We were skeptical when we saw the long line of people waiting for takeout at Doug's because the Finger Lakes are known for the excellent fishing there. Every fancy place serves cod or scrod or haddock although these might not be local .. anyway, we noticed a newer sit-down Doug's Dining Room next door and figured if they expanded, they must be good.We were happy we queued up because the line zips right through. Fried fish was a 10" slab of gently breaded, not greasy flounder in a soft, squishy bun. French fries are perfection. No fried clams till Fridays and no calamari left but my hubby had a Lobster Roll he adored. Seafood soup and gumbo smelled delicious. Grilled shrimp skewers landed on the table next to us and looked fabulous. Doug's a super local place with hysterical fish joke signs and vats of tartar sauce and ketchup on the side counters. There are formica tables inside and picnic tables out back too. Prices are circa 1964 so you'll enjoy that too.”
“The food is fabulous and the service is great. Very attentive and friendly. I love what they've done with the place. I was partial to The Valley Inn and it's nice to see that the new owners incorporated some of the old with the news. Highly recommend”
“Stumbled upon this quaint restaurant the other day and I had to leave a review on the best server I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting, Tony! The one lace was packed but I came alone for a quick bite because I was on my way to a meeting but Tony came up and got me a spot at the bar. As I’m looking at the menu we polite palaver and he suggest a some dishes, listening to him changed my life!!! When my food came out he noticed me about to pray over it and he stops he saying he knew I was in a rush so he blessed it while it was being prepared! This man was a god send. One might call him the Anthony Bourdain of the front of house.”
“The best Mexican food weve found on the east coast. We’re from the west so it’s a lot better on the other side of the country. Tres primos definitely compares! Very good!”
“Rinaldo’s in Elbridge, NY, is more than just a small casual pizzeria; it's a hidden gem offering both fantastic pizza and delicious Italian cuisine at unbeatable prices.During my visit, I indulged in the Upside Pizza lunch special, which included two monster slices and a drink for just $7! The pizza was outstanding, It was an incredible value, and the portions were extremely generous. After enjoying the pizza, we had the pleasure of speaking with the chef, who recommended trying several amazing dishes and I settled on ordering Nonna’s Eggplant and Chicken Parmesan for dinner. The food was so flavorful and plentiful that we couldn't help but rave about it. Rinaldo’s exceeded our expectations, proving to be more than just a pizzeria; it's a fantastic Italian eatery that I highly recommend to anyone looking for great food and amazing value.”
“Awesome food truck! had them today at Skaneatelles brewing. Very good quality food and tasted amazing. Big portions for a good price. Staff also super friendly. highly recommend them. 10/10”
“The focaccia, deviled eggs, salmon, and the carrot cake were fantastic! Our server Maggie was wonderful. The atmosphere was great. The people who work there were very friendly and happy.Dietary restrictions: They had vegan, gf, and vegetarian options.”
“Delicious fresh bread and giant portions (especially the chocolate cake—share that one). The rigatoni was good. The atmosphere is a 4 because it was really loud and hard to hear.”
“Historically, the food has always been great as far as fast food goes, but it used to be the expensive option. But with rising costs everywhere else, our lunch cost us about the same amount we recently l paid at Wendy's and McD's. Both of which we only ate at because they were historically the inexpensive option, but this is no longer true. Both were overpriced. 5Guys is still the best option for great tasting burgers, but if they keep the prices the way they are, then they are going to be the best option out there.”
“I don't know how you make a simple turkey sub so delicious, but dang. I'm from the south, and we don't have a lot of great deli options, so Brooklyn Pickle is always a treat when we're back home in Syracuse. Restaurant is clean, service was fast and friendly, and the sandwiches are simple, but amazing. And we also like the owner!”
“The place was really cozy inside and it felt very welcoming. The food was great. My muffin breakfast sandwich was terrific, way better than a McDonald's sandwich. My children really enjoyed their pancakes which the waitress happily split for them to share. The coffee was hot and freshened regularly. Overall, I would say this is a great option if you happen to be in the area and looking for a breakfast place.Parking: You won't have a problem finding a spot.Kid-friendliness: Our kids had a great time here and seemed very family friendly. Would recommend bringing kids here.”
“Beautiful restaurant in the middle of one of the most perfect villages of CNY, Finger Lakes region. Food was all wonderful, vegan options were great and the special of the night was so much food! Our waitress Mia was fabulous! We will be back!”
“Best place in the area for a craft beer. Try a few at the bar, buy some to go at the attached store. Huge selection of cans, taps rotate. Laid back atmosphere, beautiful outside seating. If ya enjoy craft beer, you need to stop her.”
“My Wife and I dine there. In our opinion it is the best food in central NY. The wait staff is excellent and the food is always excellent. We highly recommend this Restaurant to anyone looking for great food and a pleasant dining experience.”
“A perfect hole in the wall the food is always great the bartenders are always super nice they always make sure that you have what you need and the atmosphere is full of nice people kind of a farmer crowd a hard workers will go there it's a great barParking: Big parking lotWheelchair accessibility: They have a wheelchair ramp”

“Had a great family dinner tonight at the Fairmount location on our way to a show at the Landmark. I love the build your own bowl. Fast, fresh, friendly, affordable, healthy. Thank you!!!”
“My husband and I were out shopping and needed something tasty yet healthy so we decided to try Bowl Boss. The staff was really helpful with our questions and let us taste test items. We were very happy with our decision to check them out. Our first time there we endulged in the Gold Coast, our 2nd visit we both chose something different, I chose the Beach Bum while he decided on Coco Cabana. We agreed that it's become our treat when we're in Camillus for our monthly grocery shopping. All 3 were terrific and totally satisfying. ? ? ?”
“Ate so quick I didn't have a chance to take a picture. Must go if you need/want a burger. For the price, it's a GREAT place to come grab food and have a drink (especially when it's nice outside and you can sit on the patio). Food service is quite fast even when the line is long. *only CASH but they do have an ATM ($2 fee).”
“Waitress was very busy as she was also bartending, so she wasn't into friendly banter. However, a nice gentleman gave up his seat so that I could sit down at the bar and the beer was cold and the atmosphere was chill so I'll definitely stop by again !”
“Great sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich on a toasted English muffin. The sandwich normally comes with scrambled eggs, but I ordered mine with a fried egg over medium. The partially runny yolk added nice moisture and taste to the sandwich. The coffee was definitely better than you find at most diners. This was my first time eating here, but I'll be back to try other items from their menu. They are located just east of Westvale Plaza on Charles Ave.”
“We order Chinese food once every couple of months and since our usual place was closed for the day we decided to try Beijing on a whim. Very glad we did! First off, this place is largely a take out spot, they have a couple small tables. The interior is what you'd expect from a take out spot, nothing super appealing but fine. They could clean it up a bit and take down the old entree pictures up top that are discolored and decades old. There is a small step down from front door to side walk, that can take you off guard if not aware. The service was nice and efficient even on a busy Friday evening. The food was excellent. The lo mein was cooked perfectly, not too oily and firm texture. The house fried rice was excellent, a lot of shrimp. My spouse raved about the general tsos chicken, which he liked a bit better than our usual spot. The prices are more than reasonable, we'll definitely be back soon.”
“I was attending a business meeting here, and the place caught my interest. It is AMAZING. The foods were great, kudos to the chef. But what's my fave part was how beautiful their gazebo is. My time here was really awesome and worth it. It's my first here, definitely will not be my last.”
