Contrary to the last review, The Lakeside Vista is such a great place to go.
Hands down the best bar/restaurant around.
I’m sure depending on what was ordered, the possibility of something greasy is a possibile.
I wasn’t there when this happened however, whenever I’ve gone to any other restaurant or even a wine tasting at all Wineries you do need a reservation for 8+ in a group.
I also want to address being uncomfortable with the patrons.

Lakeside Vista Restaurant & Tavern, located on Otisco Lake, offers a delightful dining experience with stunning lake views. The Valentine's Day prix fixe dinner was a hit, starting with a glass of prosecco and a fresh romaine salad. The main course featured perfectly cooked shrimp, scallops, steak, and a delicious twice baked potato. Desserts like carrot cake and blueberry pie were excellent. The Sunday buffet brunch and outdoor patio dining are also highly recommended. The roast turkey club and fish dishes were fantastic, along with refreshing drinks like the strawberry mojito. The service was top-notch, although there were some delays in getting menus and food. Despite some hiccups with the food, the bartender was a rockstar in handling the situation. Overall, Lakeside Vista offers a great dining experience with reasonable prices, making it worth a visit for the beautiful views and delicious meals.
