Had a pleasant lunch with an old friend. The food and service were great. I'll be back to try their dinner menu. The only quibbles I have is that it was a little chilly (my companion had to go to the car for a sweater) and the booth benches were so low (or saggy) that they made both of us feel like children sitting at the adult table.

REALLY good place overall, but esp the food. Fresh. Hot. Super tasty. Nuanced flavors, even in simple accoutrements like rice and beans. The salsa must have been homemade; it was so fresh and good I practically couldn't get enough. Fresh cut jalapenos on the side too. Most of all, authentic Mexican flavor; more like the south, e.g. Puebla, than border areas! I am looking forward to returning. One of my new top three Mexican restaurants in Monroe / Wayne. Will probably rise to top one or two after a second visit confirms that the experience is reproducible. NYC fare in a one-light Mayberry atmosphere. Highly recommend!Vegetarian options: You can make pretty much anything without meat in this place, because meat is really an additive to a culinary creation that already exists well enough in its own right.Parking: In the center of Marion. Nice locale with enough parking in an easy one-block or less walking distance. No traffic to speak of, so crossing the street isn't and issue. It's the quiet kind of town intersection with park benches where you'd like to sit for awhile after your break.
