tasty brunch Board and the outdoor ambiance was well-done. definitely a place to visit
Cute place, Analfi coast theme decor, drinks and food. Very small place, only a few tables outside that are on the street. We sat at the bar inside and the music was really loud. Only a few people were working and once it got busy (on a Friday night), it was hard to get a worker’s attention. We got the arancini balls which were delicious and the pesto chicken sandwich which was good. I got a Sicilian spritz, which was good, but the ice cube took up half the glass. Michaelangelos Wine Bar is a cozy and fancy-feeling spot, with a small size that belies its big flavors. The bar serves creative cocktails, including the Fig Mule, and offers a variety of sangrias and other drinks. Guests can enjoy a cheese board featuring a selection of interesting and varied cheeses. The prices can be steep, with a mid-level cheese board and two cocktails costing over $100 with tip. The staff is generally attentive, with a bartender who is prompt. However, some customers have noted issues with wait times, particularly for the cheese board and drinks, indicating that it can be under-staffed for its popularity.
The atmosphere is lively, but the music can be too loud, especially on Sunday afternoons, making it difficult to hear conversations. Despite these concerns, the creative and tasty seasonal drinks, along with dishes like the avocado toast and desserts such as the Nutella panini and baked brownie, received praise for their quality and presentation. The service is often fast and polite, making Michaelangelos a great place to enjoy drinks and food in a cute, friendly environment. Guests look forward to returning to try more of the meat and cheese boards and seasonal cocktails.
