Stopped by Tap Room during Park After Dark and had a great experience. The restaurant was busy because of the event, but the staff was still efficient regardless. The food came out quick and tasted great. The drinks were also pretty good. Overall, a really enjoyable experience during Park After Dark & will be back.

Couldn't say enough good things about my 50th Birthday party that my wife threw for me at the TAP room. Food was AMAZING and service was even better!! The head of catering, Christy Diemer, made the planning process as smooth as possible and her level of communication was what you would expect from a high level professional.
Throughout the event, everyone was telling me how delicious the food was and how great the room was for my party. I had about 55 guests and no one felt crowded and the space put everyone in the party mood. The two servers we had couldn't do enough to make the party as memorable as possible. If you are looking for a great place to hold your event, look no further than the TAP ROOM in Massapequa Park!

The venue offers a spacious private room, the food was outstanding, and the staff provided excellent service throughout the event. Everything was well organized and exceeded our expectations. A great LI bar to experience town vibes and have a drink. The real star of the show though is the food, which I never would have expected from a place that has the bar in their name. Every time I’ve come here (over 5 years), the food has been consistent in quality, preparation, and taste. If you want a bar food experience that’s better than you’re expecting, give this place a shot.

Just left there after a super disappointing experience. We came to have dinner put our names on the wait-list then sat at the bar figuring we'd just settle there for the night and get taken care of that way. We were wrong. The main bartender a young tall guy was amazing and I have to commend him bc he did give us 10% off our bill after our experience but we were still very unsatisfied. We arrived at 515 and put our drinks and food in by 6. Our bartender a young girl took our food order and apparently never put it in because I had to remind another bartender at 7 that we had put our food in a while ago and was told the kitchen was backed up while I watched them go back and forth to the computer and kitchen and people who arrived after us got their food. We never received any apology for getting our food at 7:40pm after placing the order at 6:00. Just the 10% off because someone else noticed and intervened. Just honestly so disappointed since it was our parents night out, finally had a babysitter and had to wait so long for our food with nothing being communicated to us.

Why would you guys take off the Strawberry Field Salad off the menu and replace it with lesser appetizing ones?
This was the 1st time I went to the Tap Room. What a great place. Excellent service, excellent food, excellent atmosphere. You should give this place a try. If you need to relax and un wind go to the Tap Room in massapequa. . I will be going back real soon. Thank you to all for making my experience a great one.
