It is easily one of the best local, family owned spots around. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality from Michael, Gabriella and Daniella.
Everything from start to finish was perfect, and the service couldn't be more welcoming. All our food was absolutely delicious. The menu has great specials and offer something for everyone. I had the Butternut Squash Cavatelli with sausage - delish! You can tell they take pride in everything they prepare and serve.
We are lucky to have Carmela's right here in Massapequa where great food and wonderful people come together.

Came here to celebrate my daughter's birthday with her friends and left very unimpressed. The appetizers took about 45 minutes and we only ordered fried calamari and wings. The entrees then took another 35ish minutes more. We had to flag the staff several times just to ask for water. The food was good but the lack of service made us feel unwelcome.

From the moment my girlfriend and I walked into Carmela’s, we were treated like family. The entire staff went out of their way to make us feel genuinely welcome, and their friendliness really made the experience unforgettable.
I mentioned I wasn’t from the area, and to my surprise, they offered me a free slice of pizza just to try it out. That small gesture alone spoke volumes about their hospitality—and the pizza was absolutely delicious!
For dinner, I had the chicken parm with an apple salad, and I can honestly say it was one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. The flavors were spot-on, and you could tell everything was made with care.
Between the fantastic food and the incredible service, I’d give Carmela’s a solid 10/10. Whether you’re local or just passing through, this place is absolutely worth the stop.
