I was meeting an old friend for lunch and we settled on another place in Massapequa. Fortunately, that other place wasn't open for lunch so we tried this establishment. This was probably the best drunken noodle dish I've ever had. I had it with fried tofu, and although i would've enjoyed it a bit spicier I absolutely loved it. I was pleased with the food. Surprisingly the star was the dressing for the avocado mango salad. It brings so much flavor and character to an otherwise plain Jane avocado mango salad. It's a great blend. The samosa were delicious with a slight kick of heat without being overwhelming. The pineapple fried rice comes with shredded coconut and diced peanuts which I enjoyed but the veggies were a tad bit under cooked and it needed just a little more flavor. Our “usual” Thai place was closed, so we decided to try Green Thai. It was disappointing. There was a hair in the Thai peanut bread, so we didn’t eat it. The drunken noodles, pad Thai, and coconut rice were lacking in flavor. The dumplings were probably the best thing we ordered. Our 2yo enjoyed the edamame. We will stick with our usual place from now on.
