I love Flour Shoppe, both in RVC and Massapequa! The food is so good and so is the coffee. I used to go to the Rockville Centre location and I will say: it is worth the wait and the lack of space. The place itself is so cute and the staff is always really sweet! Massapequa is bigger and I went in the morning when it wasn't crowded. The food is still as great as Rockville Centre and it's closer to home!
The coffee here is so fantastic that I can barely choke down the mediocre coffee you find at any chain store anymore. Their head barista, Conor, really knows his stuff down to the timing of perfectly steamed milk and how to pull a perfectly balanced shot of espresso. The food is made fresh to order, with a farm-to-table based approach. Yes, sometimes they run out of specific things at the end of a week - the metaphorical hens can only lay eggs so fast. This Restaurant Is Now Closed! Went to take the family to breakfast this morning and there is a sign in the window stating that the restaurant was closed permanently. The signage was off the front of the building and the inside looked like it was being cleaned out.
