Islands kava is an amazing place. Come in, have some tea. The crowd here is great, the kava tender is an amazing person. Come in, hang out. Fun times. There's art on the walls you can buy and directly support the artist. The teas are first class.

Hail to Teresa!!!! (or Theresa?) Either way she is a champ! Her whole vibe was amazing and she went above and beyond to serve us. She was accommodating, friendly, funny, and super sweet! She alone makes me want to come back here. The atmosphere here is also super chill and laidback.

Customer service is great, vibe is good, drinks are ok, definitely order tea. Decent place to chill with a friend if you're not looking to drink.
Downside prices are okayish, but the real downside.. comedy night. Please either screen the performers or stop the event. It's so bad, can't even laugh. You go to chill then they roll out the microphone and you can either leave or sit through the worst thing you'll ever hear.
Other than that recommend at least a visit to chill and try some tea

I've been here a few times and liked it. The staff is always friendly and helpful with answering my questions. I like my kava plain, and they usually have 3 to choose from. I've found it relaxing in the middle of the day. (I haven't been at other times of day.)
