I guess you guys aren't up-to-date Burger bar is closed reopening soon as Burgerology. I do love American burger bar though. Great food great atmosphere great people that work there very friendly. Can't wait for the new place open up.

Unfortunately, Burger Bar closed in December 2023 to be changed into a new restaurant called Burgerology that will open in early 2024. But Burger Bar had great cheeseburgers, French fries, and the best part of Burger Bar was their amazing and exquisite milkshakes with a range of delicious toppings. I am sure that Burgerology will be equally as good as Burger Bar.

I made reservations for New Year's Eve. Brought the whole family to the restaurant to find out it was closed for renovations. Why did you not close down open table? What was I to do on new years! Never will we go back.

Don't be fooled into thinking you can show up here to eat food because it's actually closed for good.Would have been nice to have provided that information on their website where it says they are currently open for business. At least we didn't show up in the rain. Hoping to eat food. Oh wait.

Have been there twice and twice i have had to send my food back. I asked for a rare burger and it comes out medium well or well done only to have it come back black and blue. Now while I don't mind a black and blue burger, which is below the temperature of rare, if u wanted black and blue i would have asked for that temperature. They destroyed the Kobe burger i was so looking forward to. Such a shame for a burger place not to know how do anything but medium or well done!!!

Service was terrible. 10 mins to get 1 beer, 30 minutes to get our appetizers. Of course our entrees were delivered just after the appetizers were delivered. When the food came back out it was just lukewarm. The manager did make it right by discounting our meal.

I was there once with a girlfriend. Had a burger, it was very good, and the service is good also. I'd go back if I'm ever in the neighborhood again. This bar is really designed for people in their twenties and early thirties, a demographic I no longer fit. LOL. But it's nice.Vegetarian options: Why would you go to a burger bar for vegetarian food?
We love NY Burger Bar - our daughter picked to come here for her 7th bday. We were disappointed how the food came out of the kitchen. One of the burgers was ordered well done & it came out with well done fries. Another burger was ordered rare/medium rare and it came out well done. They took them back and re-fired them, but we were all done eating by the time the rare/medium rare one came back out. On the check, the server put everything exactly as we ordered it, so it looks like it was a kitchen issue. The food all tasted great, that was just a bit disappointing.

We are frequent customers of Burger Bar in Massapequa. The burgers and wings are excellent.They also have drink specials and a boardgame night. The manager always comes over and greets us, very professional. Today our waiter "Jordan" was very attentive, polite & courteous. Highly recommend this establishment.

We went to the Burger Bar on a Saturday evening to celebrate Mother's Day early since some of us had to work on the actual day. We were seated immediately and greeted by our server Allie. She took our drink order and we put in some appetizers, which came out very quickly. We love the Buffalo wings and the giant pretzel, and they were delicious as always. We ordered our meals around 7pm. Now the place had gotten busy and we noticed that our food hadn't come out by 7:30. We didn't say anything because it was busy, lots of DoorDash orders and we were having a nice conversation among ourselves. Allie came over and engaged us for a bit, but it was now 7:45 and still no food. At this point, the manager, Will, came over and acknowledged the delay in our food and promised to make it right. Our food came out a short time later and everything was hot and delicious. Will sent over a dessert for the table, which we appreciated. He also gave us a discount on our meal, which we felt went above and beyond. Even though the food was delayed, we had a lovely night and the restaurant made it right by us, which is all we can ask when there is an issue. Thanks Allie and Will for making our evening enjoyable!

As a huge burger fan, this is up there with the best. All of the burgers are expertly put together, the Black and Blue burger is one of my favorite meals ever. My wife gets the veggie burger and loves it. The food is consistently great every time and ALL of the food is great and great quality. Staff is always great too. Best burger place on Long Island as far as I'm concerned.

We had a baby shower here - the food was delicious and the tables arranged perfectly for socializing! Will, Jordan and Jen were wonderful - spacing appetizers, food, drinks and dessert, checking frequently to see if anything was needed. They provided areas for gifts and favors. I highly recommend having an event here!!Vegetarian options: My niece loved the vege burger!Kid-friendliness: Our granddaughter had a great time!
