We were four for brunch on Sunday, April 7th. Service was attentive, but a bit awkward. Our beverages and orders came quickly, some confusion as they were placed but no one started happily when the runner returned with the last plate and had to rearrange the others meals to make them correct. I was the last to start my meal as I had been munching on salad. I must say I was intensely disappointed with my Croque Madame. It as an over cooked reheated crunchy painfully dry mess. For those of you who are familiar with this amazing French staple the bread is soft and grilled, and the ham and Gruyère inside should be thick, warm and melted - not crunchy and dried to dark brown. If anyone had checked on us before we all had finished, and my friend were ready to exit - I would have complained and had a re-do or ordered something else. Other than this? We had a pleasant experience.

Really kool, chill spot with lots of food and drink options, some light music playing in the background, everyone enjoying each other’s company. Really LOVED the Tinto Margarita, which is a mix of wine and margarita pretty much, loved the twist on it, had a few of those! ? Shared the delicious Italian board with my friend, who’s been here before, and absolutely loves it; she gets it every time! I would have to say the same! So good! Also loved the garlic shrimp in the tapas menu. We ordered the carbonara to share, though it was decent, could’ve had a little more flavor but overall okay. And our waitress Carmela, omg what a doll! So freaking adorable and friendly, giving us recs on what to order. She was so accommodating to us - we were there for almost 6 hrs just chatting away, ordering more drinks and food just the two of us, and she never rushed us to leave, which we appreciated! Because hey we needed our girl time! Lol. Would definitely return.

I have been a long time patron of Salumi's. The excellent food menu and good wine, together with the great "vibe" in the place has kept me going back over the years. However, my experience on Saturday was somewhat of a disappointment. While still had great service and attention from the staff, the food was not up to the usual great standard. The Spanish board we ordered was a far cry from the usual great selection of cured meats and cheeses. Instead, those elements were largely substituted for bread and olives, for the same price. A case of shrinkflation! The shrimp and grits although delicious, was poorly presented, almost slapped on the plates without proper arrangement. They looked carelessly put together. I hope this does not become the norm at place I've enjoyed for so long.

This is my favorite restaurant. The tapas boards are on par with the best restaurants in NYC. The cheeses, hams, bread, and olives are phenomenal quality. Their wine is also quite good. Their prices are reasonable considering the quality of the food, and the ambiance is a nice balance of casual and classy.

They offer a good wine selection and small plate dishes. Quiet ambiance and low key crowd

This could be such a good place if the attitude of everyone there including the woman who owns the place wasn't so poor. Visited on a Wednesday evening, place was basically empty except for a few at the bar and one or two tables with people. One person in my party of 4 was running a bit late and they wouldn't seat us until he arrived. Because why? We literally increased the capacity by 50% that night. The arrogance is overwhelming.

Recently dined in here and would absolutely return to try more of the food I didnt get to try the first time around. I think it was a mistake but we got a squash dish brought to the table and it was delicious.

Wow. What a find on the south shore! Reasonably priced wine. Excellent tapas. Our favorite was mushrooms but broccolini, kale, etc were great. Wonderful atmosphere.

I've been to Salumi twice over the past few years and I would definitely recommend it if you're looking for a tapas dining/bar environment. I recommend to sit at the bar if possible and have either wine or cocktails along with multiple small shareable plates of food. This time we had the garlic shrimp, the pan con jamon and the shishito peppers. Cocktails were nicely done. Give it a try.

Tapas with an Italian/Spanish focus. Some items were good, some not so good. For what you pay, there are better places to go for a meal. The Italian meat and cheese plater was very good, as were the chicken wings. The octopus, carboara pasta, and pork sandwich were not worth getting. The pound cake was better than the banana cake.

Salumi never disappoints. If you are in the mood to hang out with friends, drink wine and pick on excellent small plates and boards, this is the spot! I have never ordered anything from Salumi that I didn't love. On this visit we chose a board , The Marrow and Prosciutto chips.. bc yum!!! The staff is super friendly and very helpful ( you're gonna need help to navigate all the deliciousness). Go to Salumi run don't walk .. it's delicious!

Without hesitation, this is the spot I recommend to anyone who is looking for a new spot to try. The curated wines, meats and cheeses are incredible not to mention the tapas that change seasonally. My absolute favorite spot on Long Island when I am looking for a cozy night out. I will say that I did have a less than enjoyable experience recently when I went for lunch as one of the workers could be heard talking about myself after I asked for a substitution on a sandwich (they couldn't do it and it was totally fine with me). But will still always give Salumi 5 stars!!

The food was good. Our waitress was pleasant. QR code menus are annoying and the glowing of phones really takes from the atmosphere. The menu is confusing as it doesn't say what each item is or has in it.
