We did the igloo experience at Smugglers Jack’s. Reservations are required in advance, with a $10 per person igloo fee. The igloo itself was nicely decorated, warm with an electric heater, and the food and service were very good. Our server PJ was excellent. We arrived 10 minutes early but weren’t seated in our igloo until about 45 minutes later. I had to ask a staff member if we could be seated before they realized we weren’t in it yet. I also called ahead to cancel two people and was told the $20 igloo fee would be credited back, but it never was despite follow-up calls. Otherwise, this would have been a five-star experience.

I went one week ago celebrating my cousin‘s birthday with a couple of girls. She’s a New Year’s baby so I wanted to do something winter like an igloo and this spot has them. The igloos were very nice, but it was definitely colder than expected. That just means you end up buying more drinks to warm up. We were served by Rosa and she was amazing. Very professional and made our experience even better. It was all our first time attending to this restaurant. Food was so delicious but supper price. I would definitely come back in the summertime and enjoy eating out in the deck by the water.

Me & my friends came here to experience the igloos. Although the food was great, didn't like the igloos. The igloo didn't keep us very warm, we were cold almost the whole time. Everytime our server left the igloo, she wouldn't zipper the door the whole way & we had to keep getting up to fully zipper the door. I wouldn't come back for the igloo experience.

Took my mom and a small group here for my mom’s 90th birthday. Very happy I chose this amazing restaurant. The food was absolutely amazing. Very high quality ingredients and delicious. Loved the Parmesan encrusted cod, the Manhattan style clam chowder and the side of truffle fries! The restaurant is very nicely laid out with nice views of the water. The staff and service was excellent. Professional and courteous! Sorry I don’t live nearby or this would be one of my “go to” restaurants.

I normally don’t leave bad reviews, but this experience at Smuggler Jack’s was extremely disappointing. From the moment I sat down, the service was rude and completely unorganized. I had to ask for water multiple times, and it still took nearly 30 minutes to get it. I asked for bread with my pasta and waited 15 minutes with no return, only to be told after my food was already cold that they don’t serve bread.
My drink took a very long time to arrive, and when I finished it and asked for one more before finishing my meal, I didn’t get it until I was already asking for the check.
The overall atmosphere felt miserable. The owner was extremely rude, and it was uncomfortable watching him speak to his staff the way he did. Unfortunately, this was not an enjoyable dining experience at all.
