I ordered and paid for a diet special. Chicken w/ broccoli with white rice. I also paid for steamed shrimp to be added to my order. I specifically told the rude cashier, “please do not give me a dish full of broccoli”. I told her this twice and then again once i received my to go order. “Don’t worry i told them not too much broccoli” she stated as i left. Sure enough, i get home and what do i have? Enough broccoli for 4-5 plates!!! A few pieces of chicken, two shrimp and of course, more broccoli. I also ordered steamed dumplings. I don’t know what they are using but it is gross. Forget about ordering lo mein. I like to give establishments the benefit of the doubt. Every time I’ve placed an order the same cashier seems to have an attitude. As if she’s doing me a favor! Get over yourself. Your food is subpar at best! If i don’t ever order from here again it will be too soon!! Rename Chicken and broccoli. BROCCOLI!!!

I have no idea how this place is still in business, the absolute worst Chinese food I’ve ever had, weird tastes, watered down sweet and sour sauce, the egg rolls are not rolls, one bite of filling, same with cheese wontons, spaghetti noodles for lo mein, everything had an old oil taste, the white rice had black things in it most likely bugs, rude staff. I can’t even believe it was that bad and I’ve had Chinese from a million places but this was hands down the worst ever

The buffet is not very big. But enough. Taste OK. Unfortunately a lot of chicken. Not my case. Totally within the price range.

I Have been eating at this restaurant for 40 years. It is one of my absolute favorites. Surprisingly enough, despite all the negative reviews on their Lo mein noodles they are my favorite. Like all Chinese buffet restaurants, freshness and timing is Key. If you show up at 3:00 for Lunch or 8:30 for supper the food will most likely not going to thrill. They have hands down the best wonton soup EVER. The best part about China Doll is they have what I refer to as home style Chinese. It seems to be their own family recipes, not like all the other cookie cutter Chinese buffets in upstate New York who all seem to get their ingredients from the same distributor. If you like spicy I suggest the black pepper chicken over the general Tso. Cheers

I agree with the review from Eric. The egg rolls are not traditional - they are like a folded, empanada type of roll. The lo mein is angel hair pasta with no sauce or flavor. The garlic chicken is spicy enough but not great. Chicken wings weren’t terrible. This place used to be a lot better, not sure if they changed owners or recipes but the food quality has definitely gone down. Not a lot of choices in the area but I won’t be going again.

The food is never hot, the waitress is constantly on her phone and does not remove used dishes, not friendly and tables are dirty.

Ordered sesame chicken combo takeout tonight. It was the worst I have ever had. Very bland and chicken was very chewy. I threw it out after a couple bites.

It's supposed to be a Chinese buffet. Very limited choices. Of the choices, nothing decent. Food sucked.

Chicken was a little meh, but I guess these guys are apart of the “Beyond Meat” menu thing. Great customer service, overall a nice establishment to get lunch at in the center of Malone. Their cheese wontons are really good, but I think I’d prefer actual meat than the Beyond stuff personally. Overall, the employees did their best definitely.

Food was very fresh and hot. They had us wait for a few minutes before it was finished cooking. Served us wonton soup while we waited.

Well, I’m a truck driver kind of stuck over here for the night so I ordered delivery delivery. Prior to ordering I had read some of the other reviews online. The order taker was pleasant, took my order accurately Bill came through about $21 a three dollar delivery fee and I agreed to 3.50 for tip. I was quoted 45 minutes took about 35 minutes to get my food. That was the best part of the food I got the general chicken was OK but not nearly spicy, I got the cream cheese wonton. They were hot and tasty, but the sauce was way too and for my liking; Additionally, when I got ready to eat my food, I realize that they had failed put a fort in the back. Luckily, I was able to find one in my truck so I could meet my food. Otherwise I would’ve had to call them and have them bring me a plastic fork. That maybe the spice is a little tone down for the northern palette, but I’ve had great Chinese food that other small pan up that puts this place to shame. Definitely not my choice of a place to eat, but when I order it again in a pinch if I’m starving, yes.

My "go to" lunch pick up for work. Fresh, delicious with leftovers for the next fay. What more could you ask for? Friendly, fast service from a local family business...they have that, too!
