Have been many times since started. Not the same anymore. Current management doesn't care about what you want. Answer is this is what we have. The lobster special is gross. Very little lobster and no flavor. So sad. Please bring back the previous management company.

Local business owners posting this. The worst dining experience we’ve ever experienced. To start there was no one at the hostess stand for 10 minutes while we wandered around the restaurant looking for someone no one to be found. Once we got sat, it took Another reasonable amount of time before anyone even came over the manager came over to give us water and the server came over five minutes later saying ready to order- no hello, no warm welcome. It took another 45 minutes for the food to come out, the quality of the food was subpar and disgusting. We inquired about extra condiments for the burger, and the server was fed up and scuffed at us, that is when we got the check and took our food to go. When we were signing the check The server did not care about our experience, nor did she offer any platitudes, basically the check was rushed (the unbelievable speed here should have been evident for drinks or food) and left. One of the margaritas we ordered had no alcohol in it just the margarita mix after we inquired about having a larger TO GO glass which was under filled, we feel it was retaliatory. We will be letting everyone know on the North Fork and beyond not to come here. Do not come. Should’ve read and listen to all the one star reviews. I wish I could have given this place zero stars.
This place is great. Food was excellent, the sun setting over the water provides amazing views. Sandra, our waitress was professional, attentive, and very nice. The band was killer. Great place. I will be coming back.

My wife and I recently dined at Windamere inside Strongs Water Club & Marina and had a delightful experience. The live band added a lively atmosphere, and sitting outside gave us beautiful views of the water and boats. We enjoyed delicious fried calamari, baked clams, and Prince Edward Island mussels. The grounds were immaculate and beautifully maintained, with a large pool and outdoor bar nearby. The lawn games like cornhole added to the vibrant vibe. Overall, it was an excellent experience with great food, stunning views, and a lively ambiance. Highly recommended!
Parking: There’s a large gravel parking lot out front.
Kid-friendliness: Definitely kid friendly. There are games on the lawn to occupy the kids.
Wheelchair accessibility: Seems like the restaurant is easily wheelchair accessible. There are no stairs and everything is on ground level.

Made tea by fireplace. When arrived told sit anywhere and fire place off - asked to turn on 2x dif people - finally told cook said it was broken - then why offer it! It was raining so people from outside came in to warm up and were seating in front of fireplace e where we were to be enjoying and never even cared. Worst customer service ever - waitress brought appetizer after meal was served as must of forgotten - didn't offer any compensation or even coffee - as amends. She never smiled or made to feel engaged. Food adequate - wanted something off web site told no longer offering. Wrong answer!! Our second time there and won't return other couple been there many times and probably won't return.

This is a beautiful venue for a mild summer or fall evening. The live music is entertaining, and just the right noise level for pleasant conversation. Our service was excellent, with young wait staff who were knowledgeable and attentive. Our only complaints were the quality of the food, with over-cooked burgers and fried fish. Drinks were a bit pricey, with the ambiance made up for these shortcomings.

This was our first time at Windamere and it was fabulous! We sat outside and the atmosphere was wonderful. Beautiful view of the inlet and lawn. The food and service was excellent! Fatima, our server, was friendly and efficient. Live band was great and made for any overall enjoyable evening. Looking forward to our next visit!
