It started out with our table being served 4 cups of cold coffee, then we were given stale, possibly out of the box mini muffins. The main meals were just ok. My bacon was overcooked, I asked for crispy but it was inedible. The shrimp tacos were good, omelets were just ok, French toast was mediocre. I have to say, the toast that came with the omelets was delicious, possibly the best toast I've ever had. It was toasted perfectly and buttered on both sides. The atmosphere and setting was beautiful and probably what you're paying for since it was overpriced for the food we were served. We found out it was their last day for the season so perhaps it was just an off day. We're not opposed to trying it again next season given the beautiful surroundings.

The staff Erin and Nicki were beyond helpful when I was there for a surprise engagement. I highly recommend this restaurant for friendly staff and wonderful atmosphere.

Great staff, very welcoming and super accommodating. The view was great and the outdoor area was well-maintained and peaceful. Drinks were fun and delicious. As for food, the wings were small, for the price a few more wings would have been nice and the fish sandwich had a stronger fishy taste then I prefer but the burgers and pasta were a hit! We will definitely be back!

We went for our wedding anniversary. When I made the reservation on OpenTable I indicated it was our anniversary which I've done at other restaurants without any recognition by the staff. To my surprise we were congratulated by the hostess upon arrival, which was very nice. The service was excellent, we had two people making sure we had everything we needed. They even brought out a really cool sparkler at the end of the meal in celebration of our anniversary. Thank you Windamere for a great evening.

I'm sorry 2 say the stuffed chicken was over cooked, dry to the taste and not tender. I was not able 2 taste the Brie cheese or the prosciutto's ham in the stuffing. The dish came 2 the table cold 2 the taste I assumed this was do the 2 timing of a fish dish compared the the chicken dish which takes longer 2 prepare. I'm not saying overall experience was not satisfactory I'm just thinking as the ending of the summer something was just loss last nite.. Thanking U in Advance.

four of us had lunch during this visit. all of us were pleased with our meals. it was a very quiet afternoon there which was great! lovely location! natalie was our server this time and she was wonderful; very pleasant and attentive. thanks natalie and windamere! another enjoyable visit!!!! :-)

Absolutely delicious food. Everything was outstanding like beyond delicious. Had their specials, spiniach artichoke dip. They had fried pita bread chips omg so good. And had lambchops and baked potatoes and asparagus. Everything amazing, including the drinks!

Went here for the first time for my wife's birthday, We were seated pretty quickly, considering there was a woman in front of us who decided to tell her life story, including that she's an attorney to the maître d', and occupy 10 minutes of our time as we patiently waited the spot is beautiful. It's right on the water really cool vibe. Had a live band playing and the guy was really nice. They are comically understaffed you could tell. By the way the waitress was running around she literally had six tables and was doing her best that really didn't bother me. What bothered me was I ordered a steak which is probably the most expensive thing on the menu besides a lobster roll and it came out very overdone and my potato was so cold the butter did not even melt. I was very disappointed in the food. I will probably go again to give it another shot because I liked the spot so much.

My Favorite Place to go on our boat trips!!!!! and now I have more reasons! Im absolutely blown away by the service (manager) @ the Windamere. We came in by boat and were staying for 4 days. I forgot my swimming shorts.. As we were having drinks the manager asked if there is anything she could do for us. My wife jokingly said; "Yes - you can get my husband swimming shorts so he can go in the pool". She said; "no problem!!! I'll have a pair tomorrow what size do you wear?" We kept explaining it was just a joke, but she insisted it wouldn't be a problem. The next day she had swim shorts waiting..... I was able to enjoy the pool with my family. I can't tell you how much better she made our vacation! Food, drinks and service are amazing; The manager is beyond kind and I'll never forget her compassion to my situation!!!
