The Chicken and gravy on a biscuit was probably the best breakfast meal I ever had. I’m not from New York so I wish I could pick the diner up and take it back home with me!! The staff was amazing but our waitress Carrie was super attentive and kind!

Friendly service and great food

My first experience here and I’m thrilled! This place has the cozy environment of a diner but with top tier service and food. There are lots of choices, and everything has been cooked to perfection. The fire grilled burger exceeded expectations and the sides were what you would expect from a much pricier restaurant. Definitely worth it! Highly recommend!

On behalf of The Maybrook Railroad Historical Society we want to thank the Diner for providing consistent great food and service. We take our volunteers for the Annual Volunteers' Appreciation Dinner for years and the food is always very good and we also celebrated our President Tony's 10Oth Birthday earlier this year as we closed the museum for the 2024 season. I ordered the Pot of Gold soup, Greek Moussaka, which came with a small greek salad, and it was spot on.

This DoorDash delivery was so bad I have to post here as well. I made the mistake of trying a new spot for delivery. This is by far the worst food I’ve ever ordered. Both the wrap and gyro which were wrapped in paper, were completely sopping wet and the paper had become a part of both meals. Once we managed to remove the sopping wet paper, the food was not only extremely bland and wet, but tasted and smelled of cleaning chemicals. I’m so beyond disturbed by this food order. I have never placed an order for four meals, to then throw them ALL away. Complete waste of money and I have No idea how anyone is enjoying this diner.

Service has fallen off in the last year or so. Not sure if they’re under new ownership or are having problems with staff, but I’m consistently disappointed in the service I’ve received. Despite that I keep trying to give the mainline the benefit of a doubt. Portions have changed and my orders have been wrong multiple times now. Kind of losing faith in the quality of food/service here now and hope it gets better. I’ll give it one more shot🤷🏼‍♀️

I’ve continued to try and get good here over the last year and the service and quality has been lack there of. The servers are nice. The woman who works the front desk/cashier is almost always rude and short. The menu says one thing and what you receive is everything but what you think you’re receiving. Chicken tenders and fries says 5 pc, only had 4. Change your menu to match to what you deliver. It’s messed up for your site and delivery service options(Doordash) to say one thing and then to deliver/ hand another to a paying customer. I/we would all benefit more to cook for ourselves for the rate that is paid for one meal.
