I have been eating here for years. I love the food and the atmosphere. The gang there are always polite and friendly. Can’t wait to be a regular customer when I retire. My first day of freedom will be a big breakfast!

My husband and I came in for breakfast. I looked at the reviews before coming and saw they had gluten free options. Waited an hour for food. Watched two tables after us get their food first and FINISH. It was annoying and we left before eating. As we were leaving I looked and saw our food wasn’t even done yet. All the other tables around us felt for the situation and the other couple that walked in after us left once they heard how long the wait was. I knew right away it’s because we weren’t locals. Should have left once we walked in. Never left a diner before or any restaurant before eating. Only thing I can say is the prices are affordable and the orange juice is good.

Me and my girlfriend Sue stopped in there for breakfast It's a very different type of restaurant. The waitress is also the cook, she also prepares all the meals, I think she does the dishes too. The greeter was probably 80 years old He greeted us and asked us what we wanted and told us that the waitress should be right with us. I ordered a steak which was cooked horribly. The eggs were okay the French toast was decent with the strawberries. The tap water was nasty we had to get bottled water. I spent over $50 for two people and I'd say it was probably a $30 meal. It's much different than I imagined and it's packed and these people were working extremely hard I think they need some help. But overall me and my girl like the French toast and strawberries and whipped cream. But I would say if you don't have anywhere else to go it's not too bad.

Had very fast but effective service, and good food as well. They are cash only, but have an ATM infront of the diner.

We came about an hour to try this little diner out, and we were not disappointed. It was a bit busy as it was next to the lake, and it was a rainy Sunday morning, but we were able to sit right down. Staff was very friendly, the food was on point, and we love to supporting family owned businesses.

okay i literally never leave reviews because it’s kinda corny but omg this place was actually amazing. I went with my dad and two best friends and we all left full and happy. There was only one cook that we saw at the stovetop and she was working everything with little to no stress. Food was awesome and it was a great atmosphere, all the staff were kind and efficient.

Thank you SO much for making my trip to new hampton so so special 💗

This place had the best onion rings I have ever had! Hot and crispy!! Most places you get onion rings are soggy and gross. These were heaven. My tuna melt was magic. The lady running this establishment was a gem! She was taking orders, cooking all the food for each table, chatting with customers! She never broke a sweat, what an absolute peach!

A disguised and hidden gem. It is a boxcar diner inside of what looks like a regular modern structure. The food is inexpensive and excellent, served by a friendly staff. Id' highly recommend the kielbasa omelet.

This old train service cart (which was too large to be used in trains in the 1930) became a beautiful diner. If you go and see an elderly gentleman cleaning/setting up table and being you a drink, he will tell you the history of you ask. Service was great they take pride in what they do and you can tell.
