GORGEOUS real train car diner (1938) with great food and super kind people.
Kid-friendliness: Kids would do great here. Little wood booths or elementary up would love sitting at the counter.

Nothing fancy, but that's okay because we were looking for good, not fancy. A very good breakfast omelette, served with home fries, rye toast and rich tasting coffee.
Took a while to get the food, but it was very good and worth the wait. Older style diner.

Great place ! Service is friendly. Menu includes many pancake, french toast and omelet options. Gluten free bread, pancakes and waffles are available. Real maple syrup can be ordered. Gluten free Pumpkin pancakes are yummy and bacon was cooked perfectly crisp. Partner enjoyed his sausage gravy and biscuit. Did not order dessert but the pie menu looked awfully good.Can't wait to go there again !

We stopped in after driving through Lake Desolation into Northville and then back south toward home. We were so surprised to find a vintage diner surrounded by a fairly nondescript beige building!I had the chicken salad on croissant sandwich and cole slaw. The chicken salad had apples, grapes, celery, dried cranberries, and pecans. It was fantastic! The coleslaw was grated instead of shredded and was delicious. My husband had a breakfast sandwich and home fries. He said it was very good.Service was speedy and friendly.I think we’ll need to make a return trip soon.PS It is a cash only diner, but the sign on the door says they have an ATM.
