“There were a few of us for a birthday, I told them we had a Birthday visitor and no one came over, and two of us ordered nearly the same meal and they moved up how we wanted our steak cooked. One was medium well and the other was well done which is a big difference in texture and taste.

The waitress wasn't very attentive, we had to keep looking around for her and ask other staff to find her.“

“I can not believe that this restaurant has been here on Main Street in Port Jefferson Village for over 20 years and I never ate there!!! This is my new Favorite place to eat. The food was exceptional and good size portions. The pita bread they put out on the table was so delicious I could have made that my meal. The service was extremely attentive and so personable. The Owner came around greeting everyone and made us feel like we were all family having dinner together. I am looking forward to my next visit.“

“The restaurant food and service was very good. However, no one likes to be served a martini in a champagne glass. It’s like drinking out of a bowl of soup. You should serve your martinis in the proper glasses.“

“Breakfast is our favorite meal and we eat out every morning. Due to an early morning doctor appointment, we bumped into Buttermilk’s Kitchen. Great vibe as soon as you walk in….friendly and cheerful staff, nice decor, immediate service. I had the “The ‘Ol Barnyard”…..the sausage gravy was excellent with big chunks of sausage and super flavorful…..probably the best I’ve had here in NY and most of the South!!! The bacon was high quality and very tasty. My perfect over easy eggs were so fresh (yes, I can taste the freshness and quality just by having a bite of the whites!). My husband had a “Create Your Own Omelette” and declared that is was a “work of art” (I was offended because I make a darn good omelette and he never said that to me!) We were concerned about the “hash browns” because that usually means just cubed and fried potatoes, so we were very pleasantly surprised at the delicious shredded and seasoned, crispy but soft hash browns. Our regular coffee was good and hot, and they offer several “craft” coffee options. The Banana Foster French toast looked delectable! The lunch menu looks good, as well. We’ll definitely be back.“

“I've been to Toast, Port Jefferson Ststion, 3 x already and each time am so glad to bring friends to enjoy their first Toast dining experience. Everyone I've brought raved about the food & service and are looking forward to returning.“

“Best authentic Mexican food I had in a while! But beware, the place is a mess! Ceiling leaks, no bathroom, doesn't look very clean and there is complete disorganization all over. I looked past all that and I experienced one of the best tacos I have had in forever. Love the honesty of the place, the food quality and preparation. The price is fair, the beer is cold! I will go back any time.“

“So I hit up the IHOP in Port Jeff today and honestly? Solid experience. First off, the place was super clean and bright—lots of windows, good lighting, not that weird diner dimness some spots have. It actually felt kind of cheerful to sit in.

Even though it was busy, service didn’t skip a beat. Our server, Nick, was on point—friendly, checked in just the right amount, and didn’t let anything slip through the cracks. You could tell he was juggling a lot, but still made it feel like we were a priority. Respect.

The food? Classic IHOP. You know you’re not walking out of there with a low-calorie meal, but that’s not why you go, right? The pancakes were the highlight (as they should be)—and the cherry on top? We got a free stack just for being in the IHOP Rewards program. Little wins like that make me weirdly happy.

Overall, it was a smooth and satisfying visit. Bright space, great vibes, and a free pancake stack? I’m in.“

“I am a non traditional returning student and I have to say that some of these posts knocking the quality of the food or the cleanliness of the dining areas are just ridiculous. Also the students complaining about the prices apparently have never eaten food in a restaurant before at least not where they were paying because I challenge you to get lunch which includes an entree, drink, and a snack for after for less than the $13 avg it has cost me to do so on campus. Sure the food is not five star dining but who expects it to be. All of the variety of locations I have eaten in have been tasty. Maybe if you are looking for insta worthy meals go off campus.“

“This place is owned by a sweetheart of a man,his kitchen guy Darrin is great also .The. Major problem is the help ,Brianna is horrible,along with another women the one that where's her hair up with blond streaks.There rude to the customers and also there own helpers,I have never in my life have come across such offensive. Uneducated people .also Corrine is a sweetheart.But it's sad that this guy has to employe these people he can't find any help he deserves better .Like I said he is a great guy.And he makes great food on that grill.Best of luck Jesse...“

“My family and I went to IHOP this weekend very early in the morning. We had the absolute pleasure of having a server named David A. He was absolutely phenomenal. He was by far the best waiter I’ve had in a very long time especially at IHOP. He was kind helpful and truly gave us an incredible experience. I’ve been to a lot of places and I truly very rarely leave reviews and I could not help but review him myself. He truly deserves to be taken care of by the IHOP corporation. Truly, I believe he should train other staff members.“

When I was waiting for My Order I saw how all the staff works. Unfortunately there are some of the staff that have Attitudes.
