My husband and I went to Harvest on a date night. All of the food was great and the service was great too. My husband had the Tomahawk steak, which he has been wanting for a while. He is very picky about it being well done. The chef came out to cut it and made sure that it was to his liking.
Had high hopes for this restaurant after the wonderful restoration of the opera house. Atmosphere is wonderful as were the cocktails, but the food was rather lackluster. I got bison ribs for an appetizer and had a difficult time finding any meat on them. My chicken was dry and disappointing. Service was quite good.
We are frequent diners and love Sunday brunch, a delicious repass of vegie omelet with a side of sausages, the eggs benedict with ribs and vegetables on the side and the porter house steak with eggs and crispy potatoes. The old fashioned drink Italian style is so good, done by Rose the bartender.
