I had an issue with my room facing the open atrium area and the noise level from the bar extending past quiet hour. The front desk manager, Stephen, immediately addressed my concern and moved me to a room in a more desirable location. I also found the front desk and concierge lounge employees to be very friendly and helpful. My room service attendant, Holly, made sure my order was as specified and she delivered it with a smile!! I really appreciated her kind demeanor. I felt my business mattered to everyone I came in contact with at this Marriott property and would not hesitate staying here again when my travels bring me back to Long Island.

I most appreciated the friendly staff. Reception was great and understanding, changed my room with no issues. Room service was great and timely, thank you Holly! I stay a Marriotts frequently for work and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food at the restaurant.

Hotel was very clean, as was our room. It appeared to have recently been refurbished. We had breakfast in the restaurant and the food and service were excellent, although a bit pricey. The hotel was very busy with business gatherings and quite noisy in the lobby area when the groups were having breaks from their meetings. Our room was quite far from the main area, so it was very quiet - but a long walk to the lobby.

Very clean and updated rooms and facility. Staff pleasant and helpful. Checkin was efficient and easy. Ordered room service - Holly was prompt and professional and kind. Good food delivered quickly - much appreciated! Staff in the bar were attentive. Great stay - thanks!

Service was incredible, the gym was convenient, I thought the bar staff was very cool along with the beautiful hotel. Overall very satisfied. If I ever make a trip back to long island I'd very much consider staying here again!

Recently stayed here, and was very happy with our stay. The staff was friendly, and the entire place is exceptionally clean. Our room was very accommodating and comfortable. The onsite restaurant was very good and convenient for tired travelers. My only complaint would be that there is no breakfast included in the price, and not even any complimentary fresh coffee.

Stayed one night over the weekend. Chose this hotel after reading all of the positive reviews. The gentleman at the front desk was friendly and personable. Check-in was seamless. The hotel was clean. After traveling all day, it was easier to dine at the hotel restaurant and the food was very good and convenient. For the price, it would have been nice if they had offered free coffee in the morning or breakfast but there are options just down the road if you don't want to use room service.

I enjoyed my stay at the Melville Marriott for business. I met a very friendly staff and had a very clean hotel room. The hotel itself was very clean too. I had lunch and the food was very tasty and good.

Hotel and food were good, Holly who brought us room service was actually great. Room was clean and had plenty of space, there was easy on site parking and free WiFi for members, making the stay easy. Holly was super friendly and helpful, much appreciated.

Holly was amazing! She gave me the best customer service today that I had to write a review. My order was incorrect and she immediately went down and made sure that the Restuarant corrected the order in minutes! She was super friendly and a Ray of sunshine from beginning to end. I’ll definitely stay here again because of Holly!!!!

The hotel is remarkably nice. The atrium was a pleasant surprise. Bar staff was absolutely awesome. They were super hospitable and very knowledgeable with mixing drinks. I wish the night desk staff understood the computer system better. They had a room available, but it required me to contact Marriott’s phone support in order for them to find it.

No attention to practicality. Rooms are dimly lit. One cant see ones face in the mirror above the sink. The full length mirror is behind the bag rest that covers up the lower half. No light anyways. No hooks behind the door in the bathroom. No place to hang towel or clothes. Padding on ironing board is non existent. Cheesy coffee maker. Decor is cheap.

Holly with Room Service was so lovely and thoughtful! Easy to order and quick to deliver. Not too mention the steak & frites were so very delicious! Staying here regularly for work and it makes it so easy to have quality options onsite!
