This was the worst dining experience ever. We was a party of 18 and we arrived at 7:30pm our food order wasnt put in until 8:47pm and we didnt receive our food until 10:13pm and the food came out cold. There was never a question of food allergies but my shrimp fried rice came out full of cashews. And management was not accommodating or anything and made it as if it was our fault for everything. I would never go back there again.

I want to preface that the service from my waitress and atmosphere was exceptional. However, I am deeply disappointed by a multitude of things. I made a reservation for Mother’s Day to have brunch and was met with the unfortunate news that it was an “executive decision” (most likely from a man) that brunch would not be served and that dinner will be served all day. Upon making the reservation, there was no indication on the website that brunch would be canceled. It’s hard not to believe the owner saw this as a financial gain since the busyness that Mother’s Day ensues would force a customer to have to take dinner over taking a chance at another establishment. Overall, the food and service was great, but I would’ve appreciated a disclaimer prior to making the reservation.

We were there last night and it was just eh. Our expectations were high after reading the reviews and always enjoying Jewel, but it had a nightclub vibe as you walk in. The food was not great. Sliders had to be sent back for being hockey pucks. I had the shrimp stuffed branzino, but it was dry and flavorless. Others made the same comment about their meals being flavorless. My wife loved her jumbo shrimp. Can't recommend Bijou for dinner, but would be willing to try it for lunch one day.

This was our first time at bijou and we can't wait to go back! Everything from the service, the ambience, and especially the food was over the top excellent. I would recommend this place to all my family and friends.

Cannot say enough how much my wife and I enjoyed the Sushi tasting. One course was better than the next. The waiter was greater and we loved hearing about each dish from the head sushi chef. I eat sushi all the time and this was one of best sushi meals I have had. Thank You we will be back.

Went today for a Bridal shower food Sernovice Place excellent whoever was running the show was very inconsiderate we we're two rooms next to each other one had a DJ for their shower and we didn't it was over the top loud and we paid good money for our side which I'm sure the other people did also there was a way that they could have asked the DJ to lower the music it was really out of control and very rude to our side when we asked whoever was in charge to ask them to lower it a little so if you are considering a party make sure you understand that this could be the case we couldn't even chat and hear each other and we were in a totally different room away from their music when we asked what they could do about it they said you could have had music too we did not want music so everything was just so wonderful except for that and it was a shame because we did not want music and they did nothing about the noise so it's something to consider when you are booking a party there very disappointed in the handling of it other than that they're excellent but not handled well at all

Was so excited to enjoy the Boujee Brunch. Was so disappointed. Service was terrible. It seemed no one wanted to take our table. We sat for 15 minutes watching servers ignore us and pretend we were not there. Finally, a male server had pity on us and took our order. Food was tasty and drinks were good, but the service left a bad taste that was overpowering.

We celebrated our anniversary at Bijou in Melville last weekend & it was our first time dining there. I was impressed that they have the kitchen behind a glass wall so that you can see just how clean they keep it! Our waitress was excellent, gave us some great suggestions & was all around a very attentive server. We started with drinks. I had the Lychee Martini & he had a drink called The Beckoning Cat. I LOVED the Martini & he said his drink was good but not his favorite. It was a Sunday night so we each only had 1 drink.Next we had an appetizer. We got the Fried Chicken Bao Buns. I was a little disappointed that it came with 3.... since that made it hard to split between the 2 of us... but I ended up having 2 and he had 1 because he could see how much I enjoyed the first one. They are DELICIOUS - the buns were pillow soft and the chicken was cooked perfectly crunchy, and they also had pickled onion & carrot on them.Next I had the the Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice & the Blue Fin Toro roll. The crispy rice has Spicy Tuna, avocado, jalapeno, tobiko, wasabi cream & sweet soy (recommended by our server) which was delicious & just enough to fill me up along with the sushi roll. The Blue Fin Toro Roll has mango, cucumber, tobiko, wasabi mayo, chutoro, scallion, yuzu miso & tempura crunch - MIND BLOWINGLY DELICIOUS!! This was the BEST Sushi Roll I have ever eaten in my entire life!! He had the Marinated Wagyu Skirt Steak, which comes with shisho chimichurri & soy demi glace, and a side of Loaded Roast Potatoes. I forgot to take a picture... whoops! I tasted both & they were also delicious! The steak was cooked perfectly and we both enjoyed the marinade quite a bit. The potatoes were also very good, though nothing to go crazy for. Finally, our waitress asked if we wanted to order desert but we were both too full, so we decided to pass even though there were a few I did want to try. Then she came out with a fresh berry tart with a sparkler as an anniversary surprise!! Well, I had just enough room for that & it was also delicious!!All in all, a great experience and we will be returning in the future, for sure!!

We went to Bijou to celebrate a birthday and we were NOT disappointed! The food and drinks were excellent, and our waitress made it even better! The short rib apps are not to be skipped. Highly recommend!

My first visit to Bijou - from the moment we walked into the restaurant to the end of the meal - service impeccable; food off the hook (we had the Sushi starters unbelievable; black miso cod with bok choy and the branzino)j; we will be going to Bijou again. Outstanding restaurant with a great staff from the greeters to the chefs to the waiters, etc.
