This restaurant serves one of my top 5 meals to enjoy. I insist that you order the Volcan De Res. This dish is a mix of steak, sausage, rice, scallion, potato, cactus, and of course cheese. The spices and sauce in the dish is so flavorful and enjoyable. I must say this dish has gotten better over time. Chris and his staff are welcoming and friendly, adding to the family atmosphere. Alcoholic beverage options would make this the perfect meal.
SO glad I took a trip up to the Catskills to come here. The food was delicious- the mole was on point and so flavorful- and the staff was incredible, beyond nice and accommodating. I couldn’t recommend this place more!

Amazing! Food was fantastic, ambiance is great, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience and food! Would highly recommend to anyone!
Service was good and staff was friendly and very good authentic Mexican food had pork and flank steak taco with rice and fresh guacamole and then Mexican coffee with dessert very very good !!
I can't stress enough how much I enjoyed this fresh food. I am not much of a beef eater and only eat it now and then, but I ordered a steak at this restaurant, and it was one of the best I've ever had. The steak came with asparagus and cactus that was also fresh and delicious. We traveled two hours to eat at this restaurant (we made it a weekend event), and it was well worth it.
In the middle of literal nowhere sits this restaurant that is only open Thursday - Saturday nights. Looks like a barn but inside it is really nice. Indoor and outdoor seating. We ordered chips/salsa and they made guacamole at our table side. That was fantastic. Every one at our table loved their meal, from the steak to enchiladas to fajitas to soup. Superior tasting Mexican food with fresh ingredients and meats. I hope they eventually open up other nights!
After reading great reviews of Greenane arms we decided to eat there on our recent trip to Cooperstown. It was a disappointment ... plastic utensils, paper plates to share the food, shabby outdoor seating, and mediocre (at best) food. It is under new owners, and either they don't know what they are doing, or are cutting costs, etc., or both
The food was fabulous! It was somewhat crowded, but a wonderful experience nonetheless. The ceviche was especially excellent!
Not the same restaurant as before. It's lost it's home cooked charm, the food isn't as good, trying to make a reservation was confusing and the service was sub par.

Great authentic Mexican food in the middle of the Catskills. Who would have thought???
Very good food.... bon appetit!
Unique farm to table restaurant serving Mexican cuisine in a casual rustic setting. Prices are a little high, but not considering the meat is locally sourced. If you want to get away and try something a little different from run-of-the-mill fare then you'll enjoy this place.
This has to be some of the best food I've ever had! Everything was so fresh and full of flavor. The service was wonderful, and the owner was a delight to talk with. I highly recommend eating at this amazing farm to table authentic Mexican restaurant!
Everything here was fresh and delicious. Location is very quaint. A real gem of the area.
