Great food, nice service, very clean -BUT- tonight we attended a birthday party in a side room. Catered for 30 supposedly, but only 25 people came and they ran out of food on the taco bar. Then they refused to add any additional food- refused! Then the host arrived and they refused to give him, his son and his parents any food unless they paid for it separately. The Ponds Restaurant is a welcoming spot with a wonderful atmosphere, regardless of the time of year. Excellent staff, including Ana, provide great service. The food is outstanding, with large portions, and made with fresh ingredients from a farm-to-table approach. Much of the produce is grown in their greenhouses, and many dishes are prepared from scratch, including mayonnaise and other sauces. Must-try dishes include the chef/owner's homemade pasta and pond fritters. The restaurant also features a tasting room, a variety of beers, and seasonal brews from their microbrewery. Visitors can enjoy scenic views, a pool table, and even learn about horticulture through their perennial sale. The staff make guests feel like family, creating a warm and memorable experience. This spot is a true gem for food lovers and those seeking a beautiful, well-maintained setting.
