I am always in the mood for a bagel, but am fearful of new bagel stores, because a lot of them do not offer what I call a bagel. This place does. A real old-time establishment, with seating, bathrooms, and really excellent bagels and coffee. At least a half dozen employees behind the counter, all of whom were very helpful and personable. Separate room with tables & chairs & two bathrooms. Food and coffee were really delicious. Huge free parking area right around the corner. I love their bagels and flagels! I’m originally from NY but now live near Boston. I make sure to bring them back whenever I go to LI. Their hand cut nova and creamy whitefish are also spectacular!

Great friendly staff. Was open on thanksgiving morning. Ordered bagels with special order not having sesame or nuts be near whole wheat bagels and they were done to a tee and on time for pickup. Thank you!

This is just a head up, they are kosher, there is no way to tell until you order a bacon egg and cheese, then you get a puzzled look. Ok, my bad. But then you still order eggs and cheese on a bagel with SPK, and you get microwaved eggs? and cheese, no ketchup or salt and pepper. The staff was friendly but if your looking for breakfast this is not the place.

Came in with some coworkers to get a bagel on our way to work. The muffins on display were so beautiful I had to have one of those as well. And anywhere that serves a great bagel and an iced coffee gets a star in my book. Staff was super friendly and funny as well.

Bagels are good. Not sure why the everything bagels look like whole wheat bagels. No salt seasoning on everything bagels???? Good amount of cream cheese! Prices are great!

WOW... This place is a winner. They have always been a top notch bagel shop. We have been coming here for years but apparently not frequently enough. There bagels are great!This is a good size shop in the Holiday Park shopping center. Much has changed in the last 60 years but Bagel Plaza is still here. It's a real easy in and out onto Merrick Blvd and the parking lot is ample size to hold all the cars for all the stores located here.Bagel plaza is a nice size shop with plenty of seating. You walk in and are directed through the ordering line (counter). Place your order, pay and leave or sit and enjoy. We chose the latter. We definately enjoyed our bagels (or flats) withe a delicious lox-cream cheese spread and vegetable cream cheese. Both these items we teriffic. I brought home some bagels and bialys and really enjoyed my bialy. They do a great job here. Their wonderful-friendly team really rounds out the experience.KUDOs to the team at Bagel Plaza.

Perhaps the best creamy whitefish salad in the world! The sliced nova is also among the best anywhere. Sam KNOWS how to slice it unlike most other places.

This place has been great for years. But I don't know what happened this morning. $10 for 2 toasted bagel and cream cheese is normal. But this is half of the spread that they used to put on.
