We were looking for somewhere to grab a bite to eat before going to a lecture at the Merrick Public Library. The photos of the food looked fabulous, so we decided to give Bourbon & Brews a try. We were greeted by Will, who rocks, offering happy hour specials and cocktails in a pint glass. Burgers were great, and the nachos were superior. Definitely will be back!

I ordered the Hemingway dash drink and the bang bang wrap. I never got my drink or food. I had to go up to the bar and ask again. It took a long time for the drink and food to come out. I won’t come back. Service is terrible.

Had drinks here with a friend on Christmas eve afternoon. Was a nice little bar, parked on the street out front. I was a bit surprised with the limited bourbon selection - I was picturing a ton of variety. But it was a fun couple hours, and the Jefferson Ocean bourbon was a good one. Would def go back some day

I totally recommend checking this establishment out. I had an amazing experience , it was very chill which can nice when dealing with anxiety ! The atmosphere made me feel right at home but David is out of this world . The moment I walked in he gave a welcoming vibe , very friendly and attentive, without being overbearing. He was knowledgeable on the menu even though i got the wings and coors light. Highly recommend this spot if you're looking for a place with fantastic food, drinks, and service! Will be bringing in my friends veryyyy soon . Ask for David if stopping in. :))

Would maybe come here again for a drink and the background music was good. The food and service were mediocre. No one was there on Saturday to eat lunch (except us) so definitely more of a bar vibe.

Most awful, infuriating, customer service experience I’ve dealt with in my entire life.
Walked in to pick up an order, checked in with the bartender and was told it was going to take a few more minutes, without even checking on the order. As I’m standing there waiting on the order, I notice a bagged up order sitting at the end of the bar, but I figured it’s for someone else. A whole 15 minutes of patiently waiting for this order 15 minutes PAST the time it was supposed to be ready, I check in with the bartender again. Then, another employee immediately grabs the bag that was sitting there THE ENTIRE TIME and hands it over and has the audacity to lie to me and tell me that the order just came out.
This idiotic bartender I initially checked in with was walking past the bag numerous times, and didn’t think that maybe that bag contained the order I was waiting on. So just to be clear, I walked in and waited an entire 15+ minutes on an order that was ready and sitting on the counter BEFORE I EVEN WALKED IN. If I didn’t follow up a second time, they would’ve had me standing there for hours while the bag continues to sit there.
The sheer extent of carelessness, stupidity, disorganization, miscommunication, and lack of accountability is enough of a reason for any potential customer to never step foot in this abysmally run business after reading this review.

Come here a couple times a year for breakfast nachos, which had always been great. Whoever's cooking today needs to think long and hard about the logistics of eating nachos, amd also their decision to become a cook.
It should be illegal to microwave bacon, but microwaved bacon is what i have on my nachos. And I'm talking long strips of microwaved bacon. Strips of bacon and nachos don't work. How the chef hasn't realized this is another story. It should be crispy, diced, and sprinkled throughout.
Eggs on breakfast nachos require a runny yolk, and should not be a dried out pile of tastelessness.
And finally, the entire planet knows you can't just have one congealed layer of cheese just on the top of the nachos, with a pile of dry chips and no cheese under it.
David the bartender is great, but come on people- nachos worldwide are having a moment of silence over this plate.

This is the first time coming here on a first date. I have to absolutely say this place is amazing. Oscar is very knowledgeable and gave the best drinks. Thank you do the great experience with great food and drinks

Nice little bar that has a really good amount of bourbons and at least 20 beers on tap. Got a flight of bourbon, as i am always looking to taste new bourbons. The happy hour menu was good, most of the food was good, the fried stuff didn't exactly agree with me. Had a good time, both bartenders Jackie and Oscar were great, and there was even some live music.
