I’ve been to the garden city location many times and there cookies are always good, the merrick location seems to overcook their cookies which leaves them dry and missing that nice gooey taste in the middle that the garden city location always achieves. Unfortunately won’t be back :(

Staff was pleasant and informative regarding the various cookies.Unfortunately the cookies (Chocolate Chip, Oatmeal Apple Pie and Dairy Free Mocha) were rather hard and crunchy, not soft as expected. The taste of each was good but an overall disappointment.I'll give them another try, but with a primary competitor also in Merrick, serving hard (not fresh perhaps) cookies at over $4 per cookie won't lead to longevity.

I have never been to Chip City before but I heard some ladies talking about it at work. So of course I HAD to go! I went in on the night before Christmas Eve to the store in Merrick and the sales associate was so sweet, helpful and easy to talk to. There weren’t many flavors to choose from as I went late in the evening. Everyone at dinner on Christmas Eve said these cookies were better than Crumble!

This location tends to have either kinda burnt cookies (dark outside, a bit hard) or cookies that aren’t fully cooked(no goo, just tasted like dough). Unfortunately happens too often so I’ll be going with Garden City or Astoria…

I usually go to the Chip City in Oceanside but Merrick is closer to my home. I love when you first walk in you can smell the sweet scent of fresh cookies. I like that they change their menu every week besides the chocolate chip one. My favorite two are the confetti and the peanut butter jelly one. The staff in Merrick is friendly and the store is a nice size.

Chip City is really opening up everywhere and I'm not mad about it!! I was craving a cookie and found that this Chip City was nearby so I decided to make a quick stop to fulfill my cravings. It's a cute little shop with a few seats inside but most people just order for take out. The staff member who helped me was really nice too, especially when I was being indecisive on which cookie to get.I love that Chip City rotates their cookies on a weekly basis so there's something new to try depending on your taste preferences for the week. I ended up getting the brookie cause I love a good classic cookie but also something rich in chocolate like a brownie. The brookie was actually a dairy free cookie. It was more of the brownie base than the cookie though so I did wish it was more balanced but still yummy.I've tried a good variety of their other cookie flavors in the past and have always enjoyed them. Thick chunky cookies with nice crispy outer edges but that gooey interior, my favorite type.
