I love five guys food. Their hotdogs are some of the best I’ve ever tasted. Their hamburgers are good. Unfortunately the main problem I have is with their portions and to some extent their pricing.A hotdog or a hamburger will cost you around $10. That’s not too bad but my bigger issue is the fries. A small order of fries here is like buying a large order of fries at McDonald’s.A small order of fries has roughly 530 cal. A regular order of fries is 950 cal. A large large order of fries is 1310 cal. I wish they had something smaller than the “little” fries. About half the price would make them around three dollars for an order. You can get the taste of fries without having to spend six dollars for twice the amount that you actually want.A burger, fries and a soda is going to cost you about $20.Two hotdogs, fries and a soda will cost you over $30.A burger, hotdog, fries and a soda will cost you $30 or more.Why is there no value meal?The other issue I have is that there are some omissions from the Fixins that you can put on your food. They don’t have hot/spicy onions, for example.Other than that, I’m very satisfied with the food here and the service. The atmosphere is decent like an old-school burger joint.

I wanted to get a cheeseburger today but it’s company policy to cook it well done. I didn’t want a well done burger I wanted a rare burger like I usually get everywhere else. Sad to say if I’m going to pay $12 bucks just for a burger I would at least liked it cooked the way I prefer to eat it. Why is this policy in place? There is no COVID or anything going around I just think it’s silly.

BRUTAL!!! I just paid $22 for a cheeseburger, small fries, and regular size drink!! Wayyyy to expensive for what it is, keep in mind this is a chain! Amazing this place is even in business!

This is a repeat location for us after visiting Jones Beach. Clean restrooms, relaxed staff pushes our food without issue and happy to customize the cook temp on the hot dog for our particular toddler (not too crispy or char) but perfectly within food safety requirements.Kid-friendliness: Our toddler feels comfortable here and even helps bus the table to the correct bins!
