When you order two items to go together, like a grilled chicken greek salad, you have to tell them that you want the grilled chicken inside the salad so you don't have to make it yourself. I never had to do this before. What a fool i am!! 2025 you just have to do everything yourself.

I’ve only been here twice so far but highly recommend. You will not leave here disappointed or hungry! Delicious food and huge portions. The small salad with grilled chicken can easily feed two people. The lunch special was so filling and included pita bread with tzatziki as well as a drink. Before we left we grabbed a rice pudding it was so delicious and tasted home made. We’ll be back again to try out more of your menu! Thank you.

Greek Cove is the best greek on LI! The food is fresh and absolutely delicious everytime. If you love a chicken gyro! And the best greek salad and dressing! Omg before i forget their lemon potatoes are sooo good! The best part is every time we order the food is perfect every time. Make sure you go to Greek Cove!
Have always enjoyed their turkey burgers with the sautéed mushrooms but recently Greek Cove has decided to take this off the menu. Very unhappy with this decision! I have tried other items on the menu and the only thing I liked was the turkey burger. Chicken gyro meat was extremely salty, chicken souvlaki was chewy and hard, lemon potatoes lacked flavor. Guess I will not be coming back because the only thing I liked on the menu was taken off. Please consider adding it back to the menu.

Greek Cove Management,
I am writing to bring to your attention an unfortunate experience I had after takeout from your restaurant recently, and I feel it’s important for both you and other patrons to be aware of the situation.
I ordered the lunch special at Greek Cove 2261 Merrick Rd, Merrick, NY 11566, which consisted of seasoned ground beef and lamb, served with Greek salad, pita bread, tzatziki sauce, and rice. While the meal initially seemed delicious, I unfortunately became seriously ill shortly after consuming it. I was struck with severe stomach issues, including nausea, vomiting, and stomach cramps, which lasted for four days. I eventually sought medical attention, and after careful evaluation, I was diagnosed with a stomach virus.
I am not certain what exactly in the meal caused the illness, but I feel that something in the food I consumed that day may have been the source. Given that I had no other unusual food or drink that day, I wanted to bring this matter to your attention so that you can investigate the preparation and handling of the meal. It’s crucial for your restaurant to ensure that food safety standards are being strictly followed to avoid causing harm to future customers.
I fully understand that foodborne illnesses can occur, but I believe it’s important for businesses to be aware of such incidents and take necessary precautions. I wanted to make you aware of my experience not as a criticism, but as a means to help improve the quality and safety of your restaurant.
