La Piazza is one of my all-time favorites in Merrick. Every time they not only provide excellent service but excellent food as well. I love the Caesar salad and Rigatoni Fiorentina.

BUYER BEWARE, STORE STEALS TIPS!!If you order delivery directly from their store/website, they call for DoorDash to send a driver to deliver it. This would be fine except for the fact that I put a tip on my order and the driver didn't receive a single cent of it. Only what DoorDash pays them as a base fare. When I called up the shop to ask where my money went, the manager was very rude and dismissive.My driver said that if you order through DoorDash/UberEats/GrubHub they get the tips just fine. And that ordering directly from the website is why none of the delivery notes (i.e. "Leave at the side door") never makes it to the drivers either. From now on Im going to ask my driver to be sure they get it!!

Left the driver $15 bucks as a tip but they pocket that money and the driver only makes the 3rd party fee! Try to contact the restaurant about it and the manager was rude and told me to take it up with someone who cares!

Taking out is really easy, very friendly, and the staff are happy and always have something funny to say. The food has been amazing and I love having this as my new comfort place. Kudos to everything the staff do for their restaurant.
We just had my daughter baby shower and it was just perfect! The service (especially Erica) went above and beyond for each and every one of us. We didn't have to pack up the gifts, they did it for us and bought them to the car when we were ready to go. Made sure we were at ease and just enjoyed the party. The food, drinks and cake were all delicious. They made sure if someone had a food allergy they received their own special dish. I would highly recommend them.

Omg. We had the mussels with white wine and garlic, meatballs with ricotta and chicken marsala.Every dish was plentiful and delicious. Not salty at all. The bread was hot and homemade. Prices were a bit on the high end but isn't everything higher priced these days. Enjoy everyone.

We bought a Sicilian pie.. It was burnt on the bottom and the sauce was sour... We were all so disappointed. We would have taken it back, but the place was packed when we picked it up and we didn't want to have to wait another thirty minutes to return it. We ordered another pie from another pizzeria.
