Had a wonderful experience at Lengos . When my kids did not like the ice cream I called and complained. He said no problem. I’ll give you your money back. A very unfriendly and rude owner. If there is a limit to trying two flavors that’s fine but no need to have such a harsh and rude delivery. Wouldn’t go here. Ice cream was okay at best. Better off going to the Ralph’s across the street.

Ice cream was pretty good but the only thing that stood out to me was how rude the owner was towards me. I asked to try a third flavor because I’m pretty indecisive when it comes to deciding on a good flavor. Most ice cream shops are okay with it but the owner said “no we’re running a business here” in the nastiest tone and when I finally decided what I wanted he angrily scooped the ice cream lol. I would recommend having a sign up that says you can only try a maximum of 2 flavors. Idk why he was so mad. You never know what someone else is going through I guess, but as an owner you can be a little more kind to paying customers. We weren’t just going to go there to try flavors and leave.

Wife and I went to Lengo’s to check out their Keto selection. For a small store, it has A LOT of options. I’m on keto and when I’m hungry there aren’t always a lot of options in my house to microwave and eat. I was able to get pizza, burritos, pot pies, pound cake, and even keto Ice cream! Lengo was super sweet and gave us a tour through all of his different options. His store has been there 40 years and if you’re on keto, or if you’re not and just want regular ice cream, this is the place to go!

Amazing homemade ice cream! I remember the store from my childhood in Merrick. It's great that they're still around.
So happy that Instagram lead me to this store right in my own neighborhood that I’ve passed 100 times!! lol I initially sought it out looking for Royo Bagels and when I read the reviews and looked at the pictures I knew it was so much more. Sure enough I was greeted with the biggest smile and most encouraging welcome. I had to try the ice cream which I’m sparingly eating because it’s just so delicious I don’t want it to end. I also loved the Royo bagels which I came in for. They had all the flavors but I just picked 1 to try it. The best part I like about this store is that they sell the items individually. So I don’t have to buy a 90 day supply of proteins bars from Costco to find out it tastes like wood and then spend 1 hour on the line to return it. Lol you can try all different kids at the same time. I tried the Magic Spoon Double Chocolate Rice Cake. It was good enough to satisfy my sweet tooth , but eventually in the end got so grainy. None the less, happy I had it, and can’t wait to visit again to try more stuff. I’ve already spread the word of the bagels to several people, so I’m sure I’ll be going back for more soon.

The low carb ice cream is so delicious! I tried vanilla and chocolate, and my husband got strawberry and coffee—all of them were so creamy and good—no weird aftertaste! The ice cream is sweetened with erythritol which I really liked. Of course you can get keto/low-carb ice cream from the grocery store, but Lengo’s has soft serve! And of course, there are “regular” items too- my kids got ice cream as well. The man at the register was so friendly and welcoming. There are so many low carb snacks and items in the store—even frozen meals.
