Hesitate to write as it's a very small place and we don't want it to get out that this place is FANTASTIC. Owner and his staff are so nice, the food is excellent, and the space is small and intimate. So happy to have this place in my town!

ok this is approx. my 4th time here. Returning to this place that much in a couple of months from Suffolk county should say a lot. The owner Lalo is so good. the whole atmosphere is amazing. Love it. we were recommended by friends to come here and now I'm doing the same. someone else here recommended reservations. That's a good tip if you're going to want a table during certain days , times.

I went to Margaritas Cafe, in Merrick, with a small group of friends for a birthday dinner. I had the Tacos Mexicano with shrimp that was served with rice refried beans. I found it all to be tasty, but I wish the shrimp was not so tough. They seemed overcooked. We shared a pitcher of red sangria, which was delicious. We also shared guacamole and empanadas for our appetizers. They were yummy. The service was top-notch. Our server was friendly and efficient. I will return to...
