Great spot , I’ve been here a few times a while ago, hasn’t changed. The woman at the counter was very nice and accommodating. I had a chicken portobello wrap which was so fresh and delicious , and a strawberry shake . That shake was one of the best I’ve had in a long time . Highly recommend this spot for a nice quick lunch .
One of my friends a few weeks ago said let’s stop ar the Pit Stop Massapequa here for a salad. I ordered the blackened chicken salad minus the pasta (I watch my carbs ?) is to die for. I normally get a salads from large franchises but for less than $15 I enjoy this “made with care” salad. I have traveled from Queens to get this salad. The workers are kind and they remember me each time I come in. While enjoying my salad today (the owner or at least I think he is) sat down and spoke with me about his travels and gushed while he talked about his wife. The Pit Stop which is just that is not the fanciest place but they are full of heart - Thank you for making my short time while eating an enjoyable one. Blessings. I heard about the restaurant from Guy Fieri and wanted to try the spaghetti squash primavera. I got it as takeout and it came in a container wrapped with cling wrap. The food was so delicious. The spaghetti squash was cooked just right so it had a slight firmness to it. The primavera sauce was smooth tasting and the vegetables were all cooked and seasoned well. Unless you're vegan, definitely get the cheese on top. I think it made the meal even more delicious. Also, I enjoyed the retro style of the restaurant.
Vegetarian options: These spaghetti squash primavera is vegetarian and it can be vegan if they make it without the cheese on top.

The dude who delivers is just so awesome, funny & polite. However, the food is even more fantastic. We are a 2 toddlers 2 adults household & every time everyone enjoys. I've lied for years about "my" creamed spinach my husbands family loves. Not me! The pit stop. :)
The food was good. It was nothing exceptional. I had honey bbq chicken wings and a pork quesidilla (had to ask for pork, its not on the menu). The customer service was phenomenal and the bathroom was clean.
The brisket sandwich is one of the best I've ever had, and great fries too. It was a fast online order, and the atmosphere was very nice.
