the manger Raul called me a slur and my bowl was barely filled. It was terribly made and the fruits seemed old and moldy. I miss the old team from over 3 years ago, the new management ruined this location. A huge disappointment, genuinely the worst its ever been.

Disappointing that on Veterans Day, this was the only Playa Bowls location that didn’t honor the “free made-to-order superfruit bowl” promotion for veterans. Every other store recognized it, which made this experience feel especially disheartening.

The quality is super inconsistent. There is never the same people working, everytime I go in there it’s a complete different set of workers. Last time they forgot to put my fruit on the bowl and gave me just the base, this time my açaí is super watery. The quality has been lacking recently and for such an expensive price it’s not worth it.

I love Playa Bowls! Even though I’m closer to the Oceanside location, I make the drive to Merrick because the Team is fantastic!! Teresa, Eli, Adriana, Jaelyn and Quinn deserve to be recognized for their outstanding performance!!
Let’s face it - spending $20 for a fruit bowl is considered a luxury in these times, so it helps to have wonderful people taking care of you and making you feel that more special🩷💚

My son and I ordered some Acai bowls from Playa he asked for pumpkin butter, he's allergic to peanuts, apparently they only have pumpkin butter seasonally why list it, take it off the menu, and leave the butter out completely don't substitute without checking with the customer which is what they did. Horrible they gave my son peanut butter without checking, he's allergic 😢 I'm praying he'll be ok, always check with the customer or leave it out very simple. Will never eat here again
